Spice, honey, graphite and lemon. Palate has a fair bit of fruit richness, similar to previous bottles, if there was a little more acidity it would be fantastic.
Spice, orange, musky florals and then some light toast. Phenolic palate, there is good depth to the fruit without it being particularly rich. Really good but some age will serve it well. The 2013 of this that I've tried is on another level entirely.
Toast, honey, muesli and mandarin. Alcohol shows on the palate, with a little bitterness on the finish. It did display a bit more time over the course of the glass, but it was still a little tough to love.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Floral, mineral, musk, straw and bath salt aromas. Elegant, beautifully balanced palate - this has great texture and flow. Really shows its class across the long length and great fruit depth. Excellent already.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
Flint, lemon, oak and grapefruit. Quite rich and rounded mouthfeel. Good length, I like the flavour profile as there is some good acid to rein it back in, though it is on the edge of being too full for my taste.
Pear, sulphur, orange peel and lemon. Really well balanced on the palate, there is fantastic composure. Length is medium, a little more and this would start to really thrill, but as it stands it is great.
Raspberry and spice, with some stalk and vanilla. Sweet fruited, there is good acidity to balance that out. Good length. Maybe just not quite enough there to be exciting but it is very good anyway.
Iron, rhubarb and bark aromas. There is an immediate tannic impact on the palate, I'm glad the fruit has some power as it is needed to keep up with the structure level. With time I think it'll settle down, but for now it is not what it has the potential to be.
Earthy, very dusty, cherry, funk and a touch of metal. The palate is fading, the length falls away from the mid palate onward. Drink now on this bottle.
Served blind. Purple edged. Iodine, stone, blackcurrant and cedar. Palate is very tight, there is a fair bit of grip and the fruit that is there is gentle and secondary for now.
Stemmy, floral, cherry and pepper aromas. Finely detailed palate, great texture and acidity - I admire the restraint behind the fruit. Really lovely wine and will improve over the medium term.
Bacon and meat, raspberry, spice and truffle notes. Palate is excellent, there is plenty of fruit power but it is savoury in nature and it has a fantastically long finish. Much better than a bottle almost 10 years ago. and I think it has the structure to it for it further improve over the next 10 years.
Chocolate, plum, raisin and resin and licorice. Mouthcoating on the palate, there is plenty of dried/dead fruit flavour, but the acidity is impressive in its scope and drive, actually leaving it feeling balanced. Enjoyable in a small quantity.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru
Blind. Blackcurrant, spice, smoke, black cherry and redcurrant. The palate has some serious tannins, that hold back the tide of intense fruit. Good length. Give it time.
Iron and blood, bacon, rose and cherry - very nice nose. The tannins are central to the palate and carry across the whole length. Very classy fruit though is there and flows well. Good acidity lifts and gives it brightness. Lots and lots of life left in this.

Lychee, mango, blood orange and some apricot. Sweetness is quite aparant, though there is good acidity and the flavours linger nicely for quite some time. Drinking well already but should hold for the medium term.
Blackcurrant, violet, iron and cherry on the nose. The palate is excellent, with great tannin structure overlaid by full and bold fruit. Hasn't budged much since the last bottle 4 years ago - I enjoyed drinking this but it will no doubt improve further over the next 10 years.

Band aids and stalk, some DMS/blackcurrant notes too. Astringent palate, seems rather bitter and short. A poor showing.
