Introduction
Another enjoyable Paulee Saturday. A bit thin on some of the "top" producers that sometimes show up, but a few new ones to enjoy as well. Overall, I thought the 2013s performed better than the previous two vintages. Many excellent whites, and the reds are quite fresh and tasty. I asked several producers to contrast 2013 with the upcoming 2014s, and though not uniform, the general consensus seems to be that 2014 has a little more intensity, but may also be a little more forward and fruity, ready to drink earlier.

Fabulous intensity, great depth of flavor, long finish. Not much to distinguish from Chateniere, would need to sit and taste the two side by side at length to find the subtle differences.
