I am a big fan of these wines and think they are some of the best values in Burgundy, showing lots of Vosne-Romanée elegance and character, supplemented with a bit of Nuits St. Georges heft in a great combination, often at fair prices.
2003 Domaine Perrot-Minot Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru La Richemone Vieilles Vignes 90 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
Opened 2 hours before serving. Dense black fruit with clear old vine concentration. Slightly roasted fruit in the manner of the 2003 vintage, and possibly a bit too much pronounced new oak, but I appreciate the density and gravitas here. I think I preferred this more than most others tonight. Held up well for 6 hours.

2001 Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Boudots 92 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
Slightly musky start, but that quickly blew off, revealing a charming Vosne-spiced beauty of red cherry and berry with Asian five spice. 2001 character also coming through clearly with firm acidity and tannins, but in the near background. Very good now through 2026 or so.

2002 Louis Jadot Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Boudots Domaine Gagey 87 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
Much more earth than fruit or spice, and while this was balanced, it was much more advanced than a 2002 should show. Also barely showing 1er Cru density to me. Some others enjoyed this, but I was disappointed.

2009 Louis Jadot Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Boudots Domaine Gagey 90 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
Dense and powerful, showing slightly more spice and red fruit Vosne-style character than anything else, but without Vosne's seductive nature. Still so young and backward, this is not yet in its peak drinking window.

1995 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Aux Boudots 93 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
Wow, was this an upside surprise! Dense, meaty, ripe and spicy, this showed all the hallmarks of a top notch Vosne 1er Cru from a ripe vintage. If served blind, I'd have thought 2002. WOTN.

2009 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Aux Boudots 92 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
The biggest wine of the Méo-Camuzet flight, this is so powerful with still backward black and red cherry and plenty of spice. So much here. Better from 2024.

2009 Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Aux Argillas 92 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
This was the pleasant surprise of the three 2009 Méo-Camuzet NSGs. Bright red fruit with so much charm and elegance. while not as powerful or concentrated as Boudots, this was easier to enjoy right now, even with its bit of rusticity on the finish.

2009 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
Started off closed and inaccessible, not giving much of that 2009 fleshy charm despite being open several hours. Begrudgingly, flavors and aroma emerged - red cherry, savory spice, meaty character, et al - that made this go from seeming dull to me (flawed to others) to an interesting wine with upside. An odd bottle, but certainly not as odd as the 2010.

2010 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
A very perplexing bottle. This started off slightly reductive, simple but enjoyable, with interesting potential. This closed down hard (rare for 2010) and the reduction got much more pronounced on both nose and palate. Started off as ok, ended as unenjoyable. Odd indeed. I'm told previous bottles have been completely different.

2009 Fernand Lécheneaut et Fils (Philippe et Vincent) Nuits St. Georges Les Damodes 90 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges
Slightly more black than red cherry with savory spice and roasted Meat hints. So much fresher/ better tHan another bottle from the same case from earlier this year.

2007 Fernand Lécheneaut et Fils (Philippe et Vincent) Nuits St. Georges Les Damodes 90 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges
While not as dense as the 2009, this is so balanced and charming with red cherry, earth and baking spice. Very good balance and depth. Very good now.

2004 Alain Hudelot-Noëllat Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Murgers 86 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
Good for a 2004, the earth and lingering fruit kept this enjoyable, with this managing to be more herbaceous than vegetal. Opening, splitting into 7 small bottles for sharing in the virtual tasting didn't help, and this wine fell off rather quickly. But I'd think an OK pop-and-pour wine.

2009 Alain Hudelot-Noëllat Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Murgers 91 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
I haven't had this wine in 6 years, and it is starting to come into its own. Still dense and slightly backward, but with ripe red fruit throughout and enchanting baking spice. Very good weight and length. Best 2023-2039ish.

2005 Bouchard Père et Fils Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Damodes 90 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
While not the most entertaining wine of the evening, this was one of the more interesting. A real powerhouse, this kept opening and unfolding. Obvious density and stuffing, this ever-so-slowly softened and got more accessible over time, never fully shedding its tannic exoskeleton, but best when finished 8 hours after it was initially opened.
