I got beat by Skifree, whose team to me, no offense, looks like a pile of spare parts. And yet he keeps putting up big numbers, to the point now where one has to be given credit for insight.

BUT gawdarnit I'm sticking to it: wheels come off bigtime on skifree's 135 point pile of pig guts he calls a fantasy team!!!

and SEATTLE SLEW shall rise again, mark my words suckers

Pig guts? I guess I should have named my team "Baconators".

Are you bitter because Mark Ingram outscored Todd Gurley and Laveon Bell - combined?

How is Matavius Bryant working out? And thanks for Will Lutz btw.....

I know, and you crushed my team, and yet your squad still looks like warmed over garbage. So unfair ;)

Actual sports teams in reality are built that way bubba! The Oakland Raiders played in and won Super Bowls with the castoffs of other so-called "upstanding" franchises from the 60's into the early 80's. The Florida Marlins won a World Series within a few years (conceived in 1991, started playing in 1993, won the 1997 WS) by assembling a patchwork roster of has-beens and never-weres with legitimate starts mixed in. The 1993 Phillies were the roster that was the most full of misfits to play in a championship game IMO.

I lived in Chester Co, PA during those days. Still remember it vividly and will not speak the name again. My apologies.

2 from the top but 1 out of the playoffs! Our season of interesting equity continues - only one team now that doesn't have a reasonable shot, and only one that is reasonable secure!

I'm going to do my damnedest to win this week MYE, but actually think your squad had great match ups and situations. You should be favored, not me!!

Does anybody else see the irony in "Karens Legit Team" being in last place? It's almost a lampooning of sports, saying that you have to cheat to win because good (legit) guys finish last.

I mean it when I say I think Yahoo has it wrong and your team should be favored, so how about this side bet Mark?

I'm betting on your team this week. If your team wins, you bring me a bottle of wine $20 or less that you think I'll enjoy.

It's a hedge, but still fun - up for it?

Reply yes before Thursday Night Football kicks off and it's on the books!

I know! Pittsburgh was on fire last night! 19 points form both the Defense AND the Kicker. And Big Ben put up his highest fantasy points all season - 26.97...and of course Antonio Brown with almost 40 points... a crazy night, all belonging to Pittsburgh.

Oh yeah - they won the Game too.

Glad I didn't trade Antonio Brown to hankj when he offered... was *almost* considering a straight up Le'Veon Bell for Antonio Brown counter offer. Would've been pretty fair, but this week works out for me (so far, knocking on wood).
