Well Rouge went from wide open to turn out the lights the party's over really quickly. On Tuesday morning we'll have 2 teams at 8 wins and 2 at 7 wins with 2 games of regular season left. Next best records are two teams with 5 wins. So if one of the 5 win teams wins out, and one of the 7 win teams loses the last two, we'd have a tie for the last spot. That would be decided by points for, where the current 7 win teams on Tuesday will lead the current 5 win teams by 80 points at the smallest margin.

There's a narrow, narrow chance things change, so keep it floored 5 win teams, but the sticking fork has already broken the surface!

Blanc is even closer. 3 teams @ 7-5, 2 @ 6-6, and 3 @ 5-7.

I think that it may still be possible for one or even two 5-7 teams to get in, assuming all of the planets align.

Folks, quick note on my wine.. for the 2nd time this season, i've f'd it up.. (not counting the team i'm supposedly 'managing')... i don't have the wine i declared anymore.. i can't keep track of these long term things.

To remedy this - i will declare again before it's time to draft the bottles. I'll declare a comparable CDP, as well as provide 2 other options. the winners/drafters can pick which one of the 3 they want.. fair?

apologies again.. i have inventory control issues..

Week 12 is in the books! The season is flying by...

- Top players for the week: Julio Jones 54.80, Antonio Brown 41.08, Philip Rivers 41.08
- Biggest Blowout goes to East Side Winos (woot woot!) with a 52.75 point win over Exit 105
Thanks for the correction, MM!
- Not really any super close games this week...

Results for the week:

Hey, mc2. I have to correct you. You had my team as having the biggest blowout of the week, but I don't deserve that credit.

Your team, East Side Winos, had the biggest win..... 126.15 - 72.40....a whopping 52.75 point win. CONGRATS!

Quite right! Thanks for catching. Unfortunately, I think our season is pretty much over, despite now being 4th in total points. The Fantasy gods are fickle.

Is it a typo? or how did Exit 105 play one less game than everyone else?

Season is over for me too, but we can still play for the week 15/16 high point bottle! :)

It's a typo. Exit 105 is 7-5.

So we play for a bottle for high score in weeks 15/16, or is it season total...or something else?

We play for a bottle for regular season total week 1- 14

we play for another bottle for playoff total high school - week 15 and 16.
even if you're not IN the playoffs, you can still win.. this is to keep people not in the playoffs trying even during those 2 weeks.

Blanc league, Week 13 -

I so wanted to put Rex Burkhead in my lineup this morning....debated myself - 2 New England RBs??? Should I really do that???

Yeah....I really should have.

But hey...not so fast. Welcome back Tyrek Hill!!!

And uh-oh...the TWO QB's I did NOT start are both doing well....Hmmm.....

Yes. I AM stressing this week's match-up. All but 1 of my guys is playing this morning. Meanwhile, my opponent STILL has most of his team playing later.....

Wait you carry 3 QB's with our short bench? Got save those spots to farm some talent at the more competitive positions!

I tried but got outbid....a couple of times. Plus it took me forever to decide to cut the cord on DeMarco Murray....

Besides, just think of all the "fun" I have with deciding which QB to start each week.

All comes down to Big Ben v. Steelers D, but I am not sure I have the mojo to get it done. With AJ Green on the other side they are not shutting out the Bungles.

Should have risked the up/down of Agholor, but instead rolled the dice on Sanu again. Ugh, decisions at the margin are brutal in an 8 team setup.

I need the Steelers defense to earn 10.34 points or my 5 game wine streak is OVER. Think the latter is the most likely though Yahoo is giving me a 50-50 chance.

Well in Rouge, barring a +-200 point outing from Burgslayer next week, it looks like the playoffs are locked up.

Looks pretty certain Midtown will be a 2 or 3 seed; Perfect Turnip and Fiat Sux will battle for the 1st seed and the honor of being bounced out of the playoffs in the first week by my scary mob or fantasy football elites.

See you on the other side gents!

Week 13 is over!

- Top players for the week: Alex Smith 40.20, Tyreek Hill 38.98, Josh McCown 30.93
- This was a week of much closer games. The Biggest Blowout goes to Burgslayer with a 28.20 point win over Midtown Marauders
- We had 3 games settled by less than 6 points each. The closest was Karen's Legit Team with a 4.33 point win over RockinCabs

Results for the week:

Rouge side, only one bit of intrigue left for the final game of the season..

Side bottle between Skifree/Hankj comes down to the final game.. Hank needs to outscore Skifree by 8.04 pts..

Regular season high score up for grabs by either Ski/Hank if they can outscore Mountainmadness!!

Actually Henry has to outscore me by 18.04 points - he has to score 10 or more points than me for the regular season.

Outscoring MM by 30 + points seems unlikely I am afraid. But this is FF so - NEVER GIVE UP!

That is factually correct Freelon. I've made up 2 points on you in 2 games. If I continue that pace I only need 19 more games to beat you in total points! So look out I'm inching up on you like a snail on a cold day.

Actually I've got really rough match ups this week, not a lot of hope of catching you or the Mauraders ...

I just looked and you are predicted to outscore me by 14 points this week given our respective match-ups. So not sure I can buy the snail comment...

Okay, what's faster than a snail but too slow to catch you? Let's go with Prius.

I think that’s why hank made the bet tho? He is suppose to put score you. Based on line up.
But somehow you are killing it with a not so good looking Line up that just delivers when it counts week in and week out! ;)
