He's taken the Billy Beane / Moneyball equation and applied it to football. Numbers don't lie.

Uh oh - Henry played Kamara. If he had done that the last two weeks, he would be killing me right now.

Yeah I got problems now that Kamara only lasted for 4 minutes. He got blasted, hope he's ok.

Shoulda stuck with Gurley, but hard to complain when you have the 3 best RB in FF .....

I have Kamara in Blanc. This game is typical of my season. Played Kamara, concussion, benched Freeman 90yds & TD ... UGH

Hopefully Kamara is being monitored and NFL Nurologists are being overly cautious (a trend this year).

Playoff weeks I just fighting for the high point bottle, so it will be risk on every week from here on out.

Ugh - tough night, Lutz was my kicker and should have had 6 more points. Ingram was hurt, but played him anyway as he had been so strong. Meanwhile Thomas and Freeman have big nights.

Sigh....I left Josh McCown on my bench wk 12 & wk 13. He went off...of course.

THIS week I start him and ....nothing. And just to make it totally maddening, Case Kenum also went off...also on my bench.

(...don't even ask why in the world I would have 3 QBS.)

UPDATE:

Ohhhhh...... McCown got injured and left the game....well that explains a lot!

Wasn't there a Seinfeld episode where George decides to do the exact opposite of what he would normally do, because he was always wrong? snoop2nutz is the CT FF version of George Costanza - now all he needs to do is start doing the opposite of what he was going to do. Voila! FF winner!

Oh for sure - THIS week was a PRIME example....Ben R, puts up his most FF points All year - On. My. Bench. Should have trusted Big Ben at home...let myself get scared of Baltimore's D (who I Benched!!!)

Killed off my slim-to-none chances with Terrible QB Start/bench decisions this week.

Yep, finally ran skifree down in on the home stretch.

Right now still 9 points behind Mountain Madness for the two league total points win for the last bottle of wine. He's got Brady, I've got Cooks and Pat's D. Hmmm, ad him I'd say. Should be fun!

I need Brady to have a career day, all while avoiding Cooks (with Gronk out ) Oh, and I also need Miami to score big points. Possible, but not too likely.

Good luck, Hank!

My QB Injury Curse took down 3 QB's this year ....Aaron Rodgers, Carson Palmer, and just when I thought I was safe and that the curse had been lifted, this week it took down Josh McCown.

I really think the NFL owners should give some serious consideration to this QB Curse. The just might want to pay me to NOT draft their QBs next Season....if they know what's good for them.

Brady didn't have a good day.. but Cook did next to nothing... and Miami did pretty good..

Good season.. down to the wire for a lot of contests..

Playoff time.. good luck everyone!

Congrats - a Gloria-ous victory for you. Even more impressive when you consider that you lost two guys to injury during the games.

Boy, did I miss on the Pittsburgh - Baltimore game - thought it would be a slugfest and instead it turned into one of those old AFL shoot-outs, a la Dallas Texans vs. NY Titans.

OK, that was it - Week 14 is in the books! Regular season over!

- Even though this was the last week of the regular season, it was also a week of firsts in terms of some of the stats

- All Top 3 players came from the same team: Antonio Brown 36.80, Ben Roethlisberger 35.37, LeVeon Bell 35.00
- We had the Biggest Blowout of the season: East Side Winos (woot woot!) with a 82.63 point win over Seriously2
- We had the smallest margin of victory of the season: Midtown Marauders with a 0.13 win over Brooklyn Meat Sweats

- Highest scorers for the season: Russell Wilson 307.77, Antonio Brown 293.62, Carson Wentz 277.77

Results for the week:

This is one of the most evenly distributed seasons of Fantasy Football that I can recall.

Total Points after the regular season:

Mountain Madness holds off Seattle Slew (and a late charge from ESW) to win the title of most points!

Wow. What a week. I backed into both the playoffs and high score for the year, barely beating Hank for high score. I thought that this week would be a cakewalk, but the East Side Winos made an amazing charge at the end. They almost bumped me out of the playoffs AND high score. They surely would have been the favorite if they had made the playoffs.

The columns are team, season draft points, Week 14 rank, and Total points rank. I'd post a picture with the columns in the correct order, but I don't know how to attach a picture. Any ideas?

Cerrano Voodoo 1396.93 1 3
4th & Long 1345.57 6 8
Mountain Madness 1333.13 4 1
Karen's Legit 1318.64 7 7
East Side Winos 1296.42 5 2
Seriously2 1283.79 3 6
RockinCabs 1278.67 8 5
Exit 105 1147.77 2 4

OK, once again, I went back to see who really had the best draft in the Blanc League. It was Cerrano Voodoo Gods. Unlike last year, the best drafts do not correlate well with the final ranking or total points. Exit 105 had the worst draft, but is in the playoffs. It looks like this was the year for free agent pickups.

I calculated the draft points by taking the total season points for every player drafted, then I chose the best lineup for each team.

The best draft is the done by the one who wins the league.

Hey congrats, nice work. Was a weird game last night huh? The total score race made it fun though :)

Thursday night game tonight.. good luck to everyone in the playoffs!

(although if you're in the playoffs, you probably don't have anyone playing tonight, except maybe 1 WR.. ;))

Off and running in the playoffs. I had Demarius Thomas last night and got 9 points and change. Not the start I was hoping for, but not a disaster either.

You're playing against me and I think that you have a better than 50% chance of winning. My team has been riding two Philly players all year, Ertz and Jeffery. Now without Wentz, I have no idea who to start.

Fournette gone, Antonio Brown out. These are big-time players getting injured at the absolute worst time.
