5/4/2024 - Jeff Leve wrote: 93 pointsSpring flowers, cherries, plums, licorice, and a hint of espresso get the wine going. Medium-bodied, soft, silky, fresh, and creamy, the red fruits with their spicy accents express a nice sense of purity on the mid-palate, that carries through to the finish, where you also find a refreshing salty, licorice nuance. The wine blends 65% Merlot, with 35% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2027-2042. 92-94 Pts. |

3/29/2024 - egoya Likes this wine: 92 pointsMy previous bottles were not really mature, but now the wine is IMO in its early maturity phase still having potential to improve. The wine is almost full bodied and the tannins are much less prominent, very enjoyable! |

3/18/2024 - egoya Likes this wine: 93 pointsPnP: What a full bodied, hedonistic wine! In 2022 I had one of my 2009, and it was tannic and not really much enjoyable. So this 2010 came as a positive surprise, and I could become addicted. |

This pleases a larger crowed as well as a more sophisticated palates. Preferred the 2020 though to this 2018 which was also well made but just a touch less complex. |

1/30/2024 - depechemoroder Likes this wine: 90 pointsDecanted a good two hours, this still feels in development, but it's certainly approachable. Dark plummy fruit with an earthy coffee note, there's something a bit 'sooty' about it texturally. The structure is impressive, though occasionally gives the feeling of austerity when I don't think that's actually the case fruit wise. Let's hope some time will bring it all together. |

In general, the wines are still drinking fine and have characteristics of old vintage wine; forest floor, some barnyard, spices, tea, hawthorn, toast. I only managed to use my own personal score to rate the wine. |
