I rate the nose a 95 as it was a potpourri of flower petals, rinds and skins of various citrus and stone fruits resting on a pile of white stone. On the palate it was largely the same but with a bit more chalk and stone than sweet fruits. Definitely a wine that shows best with the right foods and an aged salmon proved perfect. |

This does benefit from aeration, and the bottle was opened a couple of hours before drinking, and this was perfectly adequate. Grapefruit and lemon are the primary flavour notes on the nose and palate, with a graphite and citrus finish. It struggles to balance, but gets there in the end, leaving an excellent final precision. I actually find the wine performs better chilled. In terms of potential longevity, I will probably look to consume my stock over the next 5 years. |

Nez et bouche tendent à se complexifier. Pour moi, ce vin en est à ces débuts : j’aurais trouvé dommage de l’ouvrir plus vite et une belle acidité associée à une belle fraîcheur lui permettront de vieillir encore en se bonifiant. Après c’est une question de goût : si on aime les blancs plutôt jeunes, il est parfait maintenant. |

This wine is true to its place with delicate perfumes of white peach, blanched almonds and white flowers, followed by a refined and gorgeous gourmand mouthfeel, all about softness of juicy summer fruits, balanced by gentle acids concluding the finish. This was exquisitely harmonious, elegant and balanced, so delicious it did not last long. |
