Damn there are a # of entries for this wine, but this selection had the most bottles in inventory so seemed right. Disgorged December 2021. Was told 4 grams dosage. Citrus driven, medium weight yet enough density, too. Has a savory citrus, which usually brings me back to either bergamot or kumquat, I suppose both can work here. With air, the edges on the wine polish nicely and it becomes more rounded. Got some tangerine in the finish, with some lime candy chew, both seemed to emerge with air and the wine expanding.

Light ruby, cherries in the nose with some spicy notes. Fresh acidity, bright cherries, tomato vines in classic Sangiovese style, white pepper. Pretty straightforward with medium tannins and a slightly oaky ending with echoes of red fruits and oak. Nothing particular special, but definitely drinkable and good with food.

This didn't show too well coming after the Kapcandy; Rich blackberry, quite soft, ripe, vanilla in the mouth, lacked a little structure although quite delish. TOC DD Yarom group at H&H Brazilian Steak Beverly Hills.

This had some vanilla up front but quickly integrated into the wine and was beautiful with dense blackberry, cocao powder, and rocky minerals; good lift, long, very youthful still. Excellent CA cab. 2nd place. TOC DD Yarom group at H&H Brazilian Steak Beverly Hills.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this wine, but there's nothing terribly right about it either. On a table with SBs from France, So Afr, Chile and NZ, it came off as bland. Washington can do better.

This rang as low dose grower style to me on first pour. Citrusy with some Chard-like character. Fruit is very pear dominant, with gentle apple and mineral. The finish was pretty coiled with a clean lime and bright style. Enjoyed this.

The magic of Hartford Court is that they make very affordable wines in small quantities. They his is a great example. Popped and poured. Blue fruits and pepper on the nose. Medium bodied on the palate, with medium acidity and medium minus tannins. Great Syrah for a great price.

Very nice wine for the price. Smooth dark fruit flavors that I enjoy but can’t identify. Amped a bit by mild spices. Solid everyday wine.

Restaurant purchase. Deep ruby. Smells like dark red fruits, violets, graphite. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of dark red fruits, black tea, orange, lemon, and spice. Solid with pizza and pasta tonight.

Bought one for 6.30 from from local eclectic independent shop, part of 4-shop group in the state. Light gold/green; bit of grassy, citrus nose that follows on the palate, light bodied, overall simple. Picked up some flavor and weight with 24h. Worth a re-buy as a simple crowd-pleaser. No storage. Quality/age/price: Notable.

92-93. Ripe blackberry fruit upfront with a touch of raspberry, cassis and black plum. In the mouth there is milk chocolate flavors with incense (someone said charcoal, I understand).
It was a lot better after one hour so I guess it could be better with cellaring.

Excellent Franc by Chris Carpenter (Cardinale, Lokoya, La Jota..). This label I believe is a spin off of Cardinale. 81% Franc, 19% Merlot (Keyes). Dark color, with bright magenta edges. Toasted plums, mountain berries, hints of rosemary, thyme, pepper, spices and floral notes worked so well. Additional notes of lead pencil and leather were present. Good acidity, big tannins on long finish. Cheers! 96-97

81% Sauv Blanc, 19% Semillon..8 months Sur Lies - 74% Stainless Steel, 26% French Oak, 14% New Oak...13.1 alc. DIAM 30...from the Tank House Vineyard. Bright straw, with some green tinge color...wonderful creamy richness with ample orchard fruits, casaba melon...yet TARTED up with lemon/lime squeeze, grapefruit twang, some tropical coconut oil...nice salty crushed minerality, flint strike...little disjointed with a bite of jalapeno...very pretty peach blossom florals. I really like the weight in this...more of a contemplator than a refresher...not terribly complex, but works well at this price point. Historic Winery adds points for emotion, and a cool label too! I like this a lot!

As noted by others, this is a big full bodied rich and flavorful cali Chardonnay. Toasted oak on the nose. Lots going on and the oak is front and center but well integrated. Very flavorful and I get butterscotch on the finish. It is definitely a particular style for those who enjoy it. On its own, I enjoy, not sure what I would pair it with tho, as it is such a big wine.

I like how this wine has developed more complexity since my last bottle. It has a lovely nose of ripe orchard fruits. On the palate, there are lots of orchard fruits, vanilla, crème brûlée, nice minerality, and very full mouthfeel. A long finish.

Pop and pour into a decanter - not entirely fair, but so it goes. In the glass, clear, dark ruby red. On the nose, soft lemon thyme and earthy cherries. On the palate, a blast of bracing spice that could almost be mistaken for VA, but that settles down immediately, revealing a smooth mouth-filling texture, cherries, and freshly grated cinnamon, nutmeg, and the faintest hint of cardamom. I think this is still at least 3 years away from peak, and possibly longer, but the raw materials are there.

Nice nose with super concentrated flavors, darker fruit character, cherries, wild strawberries, forest and earth notes, and a bit of spice that came out with air. Good acidity with quite a bit of ripeness on the palate, more dark cherries, strawberries, minerals, and blood orange flavors. Pretty long on the finish. This was super interesting and not at all what I expected from a new/hip Burgundy producer (i.e. no stems, mostly darker fruit, a bit higher alcohol). The wine is massive and very concentrated and needs a ton of time in the cellar. It didn't feel heavy, though, and with air the nose turned a bit brighter. Hold for 10+ years. 93-94++

Cloudy muddy faded purple; Earthy dusty soil, purple and red fruits, med. silky, full bodied but balanced; thought this might be a Cali Syrah. Held up really well for a 1990! Tasted much younger. Tied for last place, not sure why. TOC DD Yarom group at H&H Brazilian Steak Beverly Hills.

Incredible! This was firing on all cylinders on pop-n-pour - intense floral bouquet with Vosne spice and wild berries on the nose. Very precise and powerful mineral driven acid structure - immense palate presence and tension. A wine that commands your attention with every sip. There is an amazing freshness to the fruit with a bright and savory character. Serious wine.

Lovely nose with nice depth, some lemon and orange zest notes, slight smoke, and a bit of flint. Great acidity on the palate with some effervescence that blew off quickly in the glass. More citrus flavors, green apple, and crushed rocks follow. Nice finish. Lovely wine that should age well. 92++

Nose: dark fruits, iron
Notes: 14% ABV. This wine was quite sunny and ripe in nature. Very fruity/jammy kind of feel to it. Nose is very muted right now, you can feel differnet types of aroma packed together but unable to differentiate which is which. The fact that this is coming from a hot year likely made it worse. Again this is definitely not something I like or enjoy and I continue to feel this Domaine is over extracted and not subtle. I think I've tasted plenty from the Domaine and the style has been consistently concentrated.

Nice nose with citrus, a bit of spices, apples, and minerals. Good acidity (but not high) with more citrus notes, lemon, and green apple on the palate. Nice finish that lingers. Interesting wine that was super enjoyable but maybe not the most complex. Tastes somewhat like a modern Jura Chardonnay.

Very good to excellent non-vintage Prosecco from Jeio.
Light straw yellow color in the glass with mild aromas of fresh apples.
On the palate, pleasant light-bodied mouthfeel with flavor notes of apples and pears.
Abundant effervescence. While this wine is not the best produced by Jeio, it has a great QPR.
