Dried red fruits, orange zest, toast, and fruit pith. Moderately lean with some fruit. My big house rose preference goes to Cristal, but certainly not complaining about having this.

Un joli vin assez parfumé, un peu sérieux mais bien fait. Jamais déçu avec ces vins.

One to revisit in several years. Has quite sharp and acidic attack but softens quickly in the mouth.
Could be quite lovely and will come back to this one

76% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha and 4% Viura from a selection of the oldest vineyards on the farm, on floors of frank-sandy structure and with a surface layer of 40 cm of white boulders. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete deposits and subsequent aging for 18 months in oak barrels (60% new French oak and 40% second-use American oak). Ripe fruit, floral, toasted, smoke, vanilla, with a lot of freshness, juicy, elegant, long and persistent. Great wine!!!

Not quite up there with my previous bottles, and unfortunately my last, but what a wine. At its best it is nudging a perfect score. One of the greatest vintages from my favourite right bank estate. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc combination is irresistible. Taste profile is as per previous notes.

Popped and poured. Aromas of red cherry, red plum, spice and earth. Cherry, plum, spice and earth on the palate. Well structured and balanced with a very long finish. Medium bodied. Served with baked salmon and garlic herb butter.

Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening, NYC. Softer tannins than the Serralunga/classico cru. Quite forward and approachable yet pure and balanced. Cherry, roses amd earth. Seems like a great wine for a restaurant list that is soft and forward yet showing Nebbiolo typicity.
Spirits
Deep brown colour,
Intense nose, leather, burnt toffee, dark chocolate,
Flavour explosion! Dried apricot and fresh stone fruit, layers of dark chocolate, leather and old wood. Lots of wood tannin.
Very very long. Lingering bitter chocolate.

Grassy nose with lemon. Lemon lime fruit with some white peach and melon, and that grassiness on the end. Good lip smacking acids.

Really overdelivered my expectations! What a complex, and different bottle that drank/drinks well above it's weight class! Stupendous Quality:Price Ratio at the $30 a bottle purchased for on Last Bottle. No hurry to drink at all.

Sweet peach, spring minerals, subtle florals. A tickle on the tongue from light bubbles. Delicious!
Spirits
Woody nose, camphor, tobacco, touch spirity,
Dry, savoury, woody, some tannin, walnuts, bitter dark chocolate and espresso coffee, orange peel.
Sturdy Cognac.

Full red, hints of brown and orange. Aroma of oak, musk, flowers, leather, cherry. Deeply complex flavour of plum, mulberry, oak and roast beef, with touches of cherry, apple and vanilla. Bone dry, mellow tannin, balancing acidity. A food wine. Great with roast Spring lamb.

Another day, another great Ridge. Concentration of a flamethrower; held by a ballerina. Well structured with complexity and great length. And such a spectrum of fruit with, a cool menthol undertone. If 2019 Ridge Zinfandel was a guitar solo, it would be Dave Gilmour - Comfortably Numb. I really really love these wines. Decanted for two hours, drank over two days…probably a 95 on day 2.

Balanced, long, medium intensity, medium complexity. A good wine.

Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening, NYC. Traditional style. Fermented in multi use wood (75%) and steel, then aged in Austrian and Transylvanian oak botti. Light and fresh though tannic. Needs time in the cellar but I think this could emerge beautifully with time.

Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening, NYC. Clean, mostly traditional production. Long fermentation, maceration, malo in steel over 30-55 days. Aged in 50HL botti for 20 months. Very tight and unyielding. Plenty of structure but it will take some cellaring to allow the fruit to come through.

This is one of those wines that tastes dead when just opened. Initially, it tasted and smelled like cheap jug wine. I abandoned my glass and moved on. When I returned to the wine 1 1/2 hrs later, wow! A melange of citrus, pear, bees wax, and oak. Medium bodied with nice acidity.

similar notes, maybe one point more than 3 1/2 years ago, still quite tannic, I decanted almost 2 hours and then the wine is smooth and silky.

Wow. i knew i really liked this Twisted Oak Graciano, but i hadn't had the 2018 vintage. i drank this side by side against the 2017, and kinda liked this better...at least with the dinner we had last night. it went GREAT with smoked reverse seared peruvian spiced chicken thighs. The wine really popped with the char and the spices on the chicken. Was really awesome! spicy, somewhat earthy flavors...medium finish. Recommend! i now need to go back and try the 2017 as a stand alone wine...

Very, very tight and tart upon opening. 30 minutes in decanter opened it into a lush, deep, balanced taste of cherries and plum. A favorite at the price point.

Did not meet my expectations for being rated 97 points. I think it was pleasant, but nothing to write home about. Above average for the price point of below $20. I'm sure it will be better in a couple years, but not much upside in my opinion
