Flight 1 (1 note)

White - Sparkling
2005 Egly-Ouriet Champagne Grand Cru Brut Millésimé France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
93 points
Not my favorite vintage, very ripe and prematured, Now at his Peak, I would not wait much longer even if I like this style, but nice mighty Body, fresh, Brioche, some honey, oxidative style but not too much, 92-93

Flight 2 (2 notes)

1955 Château Lynch-Bages France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac

Last year I had it from Magnum, it was fresher and more vivid (98p) but this bottle was astonishing, very etherical, gingerbread, sweet red fruits, spicieness, in the beginning a Little bit overripe but deeloping very nice with time and air, still fresh with an animating acidity, middle bodied, won't get better but ver enjoyable, 94-95
Red
1970 Château Lynch-Bages France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac
flawed
Tasting 16 different vintages of LB, not blind, all of them decanted from Gabriel glas

in the beginning I smelt dust and iron, missing the fruit or tertiary notes, later the cork was more present, so no rating

Flight 3 (3 notes)

Tasting 16 different vintages of LB, not blind, all of them decanted from Gabriel glas

great black currant nose, pencil, a lot of refreshing acidity, still not reach his Peak, subtle red berries, very balanced, very clean finish with some eucalyptus notes. at this stage I would prefer it against the 86, drank side by side, 94-95
Red
1986 Château Lynch-Bages France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac
94 points
Tasting 16 different vintages of LB, not blind, all of them decanted from Gabriel glas

similar to 85, not so Long in the finish, more accessible than 85, probably Needs some time ti Show his complete Beauty, 94+

in this flight 85,86 and 88 the less evolved and most awkward wine, a lot of cassis and some green pepper, Needs some time, some compared him with the Young 88 Mouton, 93+

Flight 4 (3 notes)

Red
1995 Château Lynch-Bages France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac
92 points
Tasting 16 different vintages of LB, not blind, all of them decanted from Gabriel glas

flight with 96 and 98

feels more closed than 96, still good acidity and Tannin structure but missing the fruit, clean middle Long finish, I would prefer the 95 Mouton and the 96 Lynch Bages

Flight with 82 and 90,
my beloved 89 LB, still grateful, staring to reach his drinking window, great red berries, especially cblack currant, silky and fine grained Tannins, great aciidty structure, nice Balance, still at lwast 20 years ahead, Long finish with concentrated deepness, in my Top 3 in this tasting, again ahead of 90, some People at the table preferred the next vintage, 82 was the winner overall for me

flight with 89 and 82

the youngest one in this flight, very hedonistic in the beginning, alot of black and berry fruit, very refreshning acidity, firm and ripe Tannins, very clean and Long finish, but Needs some time and air, for me again tightly behind the 89, very elegant in spite of his fruity power, I would wait at least 5 more for another bottle, 96+

not so fresh as 2000, nice fruit but so charming as 2000, good length, not so powerful as 03 but mighty Body, 94

side by side with 2010

for me very Close in Rating and style, modern, broad, too alcoholic and mighty, a lot of fruit and oak, despite Long decanting still unround and too Young, I preferred the older vinatges as 89, 82 and 85. We will see if they are as great as These beauties in 20 years, 94+

Red
2014 Dominio Pingus Ribera del Duero Flor de Pingus Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero
90 points
After a great 16 vintage Lynch Bages tasting too broad and alcoholic, much cherry and dark berries but also too much oak, Needs time to settle, 90+

Closing

The 1955 great, not that good as from Magnum, 70 slightly corked, at the Peak 85, 86 still waiting for his Optimum drinking window, 96 much better than 95 and 98, 82 phantastic, 89 again over 90, 2000 very sexy, 09, 10 too Young and too mighty and modern, after that Flor de pingus 2014 was like an foreign substance.
My top 3 82, 00, 89
