Small glass, brief note. I have always been a fan of Roulot 2004, and this bottle really delivers. Floral start with apple and just enough earth to make it even more interesting. Mature flavors with plenty of brightness on finish with good length.

Small glass, brief note. Served to me blind. Immediately thought it Burgundy from the nose (without tasting). Floral red fruit with earth that made me think it considerably older, but also with slightly rugged tannins on finish. Good fruit but imperfectly balanced for me.

Popped and poured. I like Mary’s Facebook TN so much that I’m borrowing it... this bottle was so beautiful. Smell of the inside of my imaginary grandmother's purse: old leather, lipstick, talcum powder, tobacco, parfum....

My add: Plus enough lingering red fruit. A great bottle for those of us who love old Burgundy.

Small glass, brief note. Ripe for Raveneau Chablis with good+ weight, just less minerally or texturally nuanced than I'd prefer or expect, certainly less so than Forests. Still, certainly enjoyable.
