Introduction
We all had to give two bottles of the wish list of the person organizing this beautiful tasting. I personally did not know which wine were entered in the tasting. So my tasting notes are blind.

Beautiful bouquet with iron, leather and minerals. On the palate a bit rustic and elegant with sweet licorice, eucalyptus, good and fresh acidity and tannin with a good bite. A lot of sweetness, but a great beauty.

Red berries and still lactic impressions in the bouquet. On the palate a beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness, red and dark berries, a lot of herbs and spices, slightly sticky tannin. Still very youthful, but good potential.

In the bouquet fresh dark berries and licorice. On the palate chocolate, sweet berry juice, good bitterness and (slightly) sticky tannin. The alcohol shows a bit, but overall a very beautiful wine. 95 - 96

What a great wine to end this tasting with. Just a tad better than the Bionic Frog 2014 which was a feast as well. In the bouquet beautiful sweet fruits and spices as well as some smoke. Same on the palate. Extremely full bodied and yet also elegant with a great balance between sweetness and acidity.
