White
2020 La Rogerie Riesling Sommerberg France, Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru
92 points
Trade tasting, brief note. Riesling Grand Cru from Justine Boxler's home town Niedermorschwihr. Lovely fruit and earth, softness and freshness, silky and supple, bright acidity, gentle tannins, good length.
White
2020 La Rogerie Alsace Le Bouc De La Rogerie France, Alsace
89 points
Trade tasting, brief note. Pinot Blanc planted in vineyards low on the hill on granitic soils in Niedermorschwihr, Katzenthal and Ingersheim, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Fruit and spice, quite oaky, freshness, lacks finesse.
White
2016 Domaine de Bellevue (Jérôme Bretaudeau) Muscadet Gaia France, Loire Valley, Pays Nantais, Muscadet
91 points
Trade tasting, brief note. Beautifully developed, soft and gentle, rounded and supple but energetic.
White
2016 Domaine de Bellevue (Jérôme Bretaudeau) La Justice France, Loire Valley, Vin de France
92 points
Trade tasting, brief note. Lots of minerally energy, very youthful, good ripeness of fruit but tight and saline, interesting contrast with the Gaia 2016 also tasted today.
Red
2019 Daniel Twardowski Pinot Noix Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
90 points
Trade tasting, brief note. Starting with the 2019, this is Twardowski's third wine, from his own vineyards in the Dhron Hofberg. Much lighter than the Ardoise, clearly young vines, slightly lactic, ever so slightly on the dry side.
Red
2019 Daniel Twardowski Pinot Noix Ardoise Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
93 points
tasting, brief note. Marvellous wine, immediately convincing, open and aromatic, creamy but with a firmer structure than the 2017, everything in the right place, excellent potential.

2019 Daniel Twardowski Hofberg Pinot Noix Réserve Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
94 points
Trade tasting, brief note. Magnum. Pure and filigree style like the Ardoise, bright and precise fruit, more structure and oak, more power and concentration but does not feel pushed, very good resonance and length. Needs time to integrate and harmonise, if it does it should have 93-94 point potential.
