This has really put on some weight over the last 6-8 years. The structure is balanced and it does have a sweet fruit note running through it. There is a good balance and a good acidity. A somewhat dense and compact wine but still with a decent balance and a long aftertaste. Loved it.

Good balance and a nice fruit intensity. Quite balanced and overall a lovely wine.

Red
2019 Château Pape Clément France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan

Black cherry fruit with a good acidity running through it. Plenty of tannins but also a wine that drinks really nicely even though it is still very young.
It has a lovely scent of smokiness and fresh earth but also a lot of intensity and energy. Loved it!

Not served cold enough which caused a lower score than normal as the alcohol was disturbing the flavors.
