Expressive nose displaying ripe yellow fruit with a hint of red, baked apple, yellow peach, honey, strong brioche, caramel and limestone. Very good concentration, generous yellow fruit with a hint of red, rich and deeply toned, very fine generous mousse, perfect amount of acidity, strong mineral, and a long deeply toned yellow and white fruit driven finish with brioche at the end. With about an hour of air, much more delicate and elegant, subtle yellow fruit, airy palate. Started around 94 and ended 96pts.

Served slightly warm at room temperature. Medium expressive nose displaying ripe yellow fruit, apple, baked apple, a hint of brioche, saline and mineral. Excellent concentration, finely layered generous yellow fruit, very fine generous mousse, good precision, bright acidity, strong limestone mineral, and a long ripe yellow fruit driven finish. With about an hour of air, it becomes incredibly elegant, precise and airy. This really blossoms with air. Perhaps the most elegant vintage Krug of my life.

Rich bright golden color. Medium expressive fully mature nose displaying sweet yellow fruit, apricot yellow peach, honey, a hint of mint, oyster jus, dry shitake and limestone. Fully integrated palate, subtle sweet yellow fruit, round and warm, medium acidity, medium mineral and a medium long sweet subtle yellow fruit driven finish with a hint of mint at the end. Despite from a 50 degree cellar with almost perfect fill, this is a bit past its prime. Still enjoyable with a lot of tertiary notes and mint.

Expressive mature nose displaying generous black fruit, plum, cassis, blackberry, cedar, leather, caramel, a hint of green and earth. This is noticeable Cordier funk. Very good concentration, sweet mature fruit, silky and polished, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, nicely integrated tannins and a long mature black fruit driven finish. Drinking really well.

Perfectly mature nose displaying generous red fruit, plum, rec currant, a hint of cassis, tobacco, lead pencil, leather and mineral. Very good concentration, generous warm red fruit, warm, round and silky, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, not showing much tannins, and a seamless long generous red fruit driven finish. This is a classic HB that is drinking beautifully. It also reflects the warm vintage character, soft and round.

Beautiful “cult” nose displaying perfectly ripe concentrated black fruit, blackberry, blueberry, a hint of cassis, milky chocolate, totally luxurious oak, light caramel and earth. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of generous black fruit, rich and opulent but also showing exceptional balance and detail, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, very sweet tannins and a seamless long perfectly ripe black fruit driven finish. This is developing beautifully. Perhaps a bit more developed compare to the same period Napa cult cabs, perhaps due to being 100% Merlot. This is a perfectly crafted wine.
