Fruity, cherries, low tannins, the vineyard is exposed to more sun better fruit. Maker is careful not to include a lot of stems. We are in New Zealand Otago area so wine is local.I would buy again, good to know it is available in the USA , cost here was 40.00 NZ about 28.00 us

I like it it. Is a different style. Drunk in proper Pinot glass filled to widest part of glass.

A little rough at first but after open for next day the complex notes came through. It continued to be good for next 2 nights. Typical Barbaresco with mellow tannins. Could taste the fruits and leather
Notes. Last glass was with grilled bison steak.

Well balanced fruit and acid balance excellent was not overwhelming with grilled salmon. Tasted head to head with a good light burgundy. It was lighter than the burgundy.
It went well with a feta cheese roasted red pepper on flat bread.

I got sucked in by the claim that above the fog line there is magic for the cabs. True there is not a lot of real estate up there and these is special wines on the hill.

As far as my one experience it was the most enjoyable Pinot Noir. It is just the style I enjoy. It is a big pinot noir 14.5% alcohol yet fruity and balanced.The tannins were subtle offset by great strawberry fruit. I will be on the search for more. Local price is $25.99

I read about this wine from the reverse wine snob and tried it. Lots of fruit but not too sweet or jammie. It was well balanced and good value. I plan to stock up on it. If you like the fruit of Zinfandel but don't want it to be too much like jam. It is for you.

I really like it and it has a ton of flavor and a very pleasant finish. It's not heavy or musty. It make you want to just taste a bite more. I plan a trip to the store to buy more. You will love it if you like the style.

I am at a learning stage, it is defiantly unique with a lot going on and different . I let it open up about 20 minutes in the glass. It is not your usual Beaujolais .More like burgundy (lite) The tannins were a surprise but the fruit is clearly there. I will try another tonight.

typical Rioja at first but a distinctive complex aftertaste .I like it but really don't know how to grade it
