Pleasant but timid and not very memorable CNDP. Not acidic and has mild fruit. Very drinkable, just not much there on the finish and so didn't hold up with dinner very well.

Delicious, smooth and more settled down than other TH's I've had. 15.7% alcohol.

Decanted for half hour, was closed, extremely acidic forward, bitter finish. Opened up a bit more in glass after a while but still a disappointment. Maybe it needs a few hours decanted but wouldn't buy again.

I was going to give this cheap Wegmans selection a scathing review after finding it undrinkable after uncorking, but after vacuum corking and sitting a full day it's a decent QPR - a little tart jam with a peppery Sangiovese flavor going down, with a spicy, slightly iron, finish. I will try again but -definitely- open the day before drinking.

Very decent QPR for a barbera d'alba. Even better 2nd night.

Light, smooth, very drinkable even on night 2. Not complex but nothing offensive as with so many supposed bargain bottles. Enjoyed with pizza and pasta. Will buy more and add to the lindeman's staple multi-bottle buys.

In the end disappointed - again. I've drunk a few of the 2008 over the last few years and none have held a candle to the 2006 I tried previously. Closed and undrinkable on opening, then opened up after 1+ hrs. decanted. Still a little thin and not much pleasantness on the finish, synthetic fruit and copper echoes. At this price point (I paid $39) I wouldn't buy/cellar any more.

Interesting wine, 70% merlot, 30% cabernet. Not nearly ready on open, decanted over an hour. First glass finish was closed and burnt toast but smoothed out considerably over the evening. Last glass was best. Hindsight would decant 4 hours, not 1. In the end light and enjoyable, though not particularly complex or deep for a 10 year old Bordeaux.

Good QPR at $20, but I have had better bargain Gigondas or higher priced Rhones. Maybe too young. Smooth but short on the finish.

Decent QPRS. Better on 1st night, not deep but fruit forward and not heavy on tannins. Would get a few more for simple weeknight fare.

Verry light bodied, simple fruit forward with slightly metallic finish. Not totally disappointed for a week night sip, but wouldn't buy again. But then I'm not a Malbec fan re: this merlot-cab-Malbec blend.

Better on night 2-3, too closed up after opening even after aeration. Still not as good a QPR as the 2009. Based on '13 reviews maybe past it's prime.

I have loved this wine in the past ('08!) I'm really trying to like this. Substantial fruit on the nose, full of promise. But thick and syrupy on the palate with almost a medicinal fruit finish. No better on day 2. After betting on 4 bottles I won't be buying more.

Nice QPR. I used to like this circa 2005-2008 but some not so great years turned me off. The 2012 reminds me what I liked. Relatively light for a shiraz, not tannic with nice but not overly generous fruit, with a smooth buttery finish from the Viognier.

Disappointing even after an hour decanted. Too much acidity up front to enjoy. Was snookered by a wine store newsletter, right year and varietals, bit there's a reason there is so much of the 2009 available. There are far better QPRs for $10.

I'm not a Sauternes expert but this had little of the dessert wine flavor and was extremely alcohol flavored, too long in the bottle I'd guess. More like a brandy than what I expected, with few hints of the floral nose that I expected either. Hints of something good but not to our liking for the end of the meal.

Way past its time. Acid in front and acid on the finish, and some very distant hints of fruit in between, otherwise undrinkable. Not a corked bottle, just one of burgundy's bad vintages and 5 or 6 years too long in the bottle - doomed from the start.

2 good bottles and 2 bad bottles, not corked, the bad bottles are too tart, never opened up even after an hour decant nor on day 2. The good bottles had overtones of blackberries and cassis. But I won't try more. Too many alternatives.

I have now tested several bottles over the last few months and an noticing more thinness, forward tannins and a slightly bitter finish. There is some unevenness among bottles but while still a decent QPR I no longer look forward to opening, and for the value there is competition in the $6 range.

A little bitter out of the bottle but much improves with decanting. Light fruit. A little on the meek side, will make a good summer wine.

I remember my first impression of the '09 well, that these people really know how to make wine. So it was with great anticipation that I opened the 2010. It was a let down, slightly bitter finish, not near the fruit of the '09, and a little effervescent which really surprised me. It's always possible I had a bad bottle though I doubt it. It was a little improved on the 2nd night but still not the "yum" factor of the '09.

Decanted 1hr. Slight tannins evaporate on the tongue, reappear at beginning of finish, rewards with resonant fruit, solid 20+ seconds of vanilla, oak, cardamom, and a hint of strawberry (maybe dried strawberry, but not cherry). A bargain @ $15.

Drank at Bibou who decanted upon arrival. Still not enough time and was initially tart. But it gradually opened up and by the time our entrees arrived it was outstanding, smooth finish rolled down with currant and homemade jam flavors. This was especially exceptional with the cheese plate pairing wonderfully with blue cheese and the accompanying tomato preserve. In the end should have dropped off an hour before dinner to decant, but then we may not have stretched it out to the cheese course.
