1/5/21, 2:49 PM - Not in varietal of course, but in mouthfeel and balance. Very impressive for Tempranillo.
7/28/17, 2:26 PM - Yeah the reality is there's no elevated secondary floral characteristics that warrant a higher rating. It's a good wine, well above average for sure, it's just not a great one.
2/26/17, 8:31 PM - Funny, I thought the exact opposite. Oak integrated, quite fruity. Perhaps you had a bad bottle?
7/18/16, 7:47 PM - Mostly Syrah, with some Viognier cofermented (which might be what you're thinking is the Grenache), and some Cab Sauv for color and body.
7/18/16, 7:41 PM - Maybe marked as flawed so you don't drag down the overall score?
5/30/16, 7:20 PM - Not Willamete this lot/vintage. Clearly stated on label.
5/14/16, 6:33 PM - I don't think that's the case. It was technically sound and similar across 3 bottles that night.
1/14/15, 9:37 PM - A friend brought it over. It was bought by his father from a signature NY importer in 1985 and kept in proper storage ever since.
1/13/15, 7:29 PM - Spot on technical analysis.
3/24/12, 9:00 AM - I would mark this as flawed so you're not skewing the overall score. The 3 bottles I've had so far have been fantastic.
9/8/10, 5:14 PM - If you have any more of this, I'd be very interested in purchasing. Drop me a note at jmgolden [at] gmail [dot] com. Just an enthusiastic fan of Dean and Heather's work, I'm in the Redmond area too, work at MS.
