Broken cork. Decanted 2 hours. Opaque dark purple-crimson. Cassis, black cherry, very aromatic. Very smooth, hint of pencil box, bit of heat on finish. Some complexity but disjointed. I don't think this will improve with any more age.

Very pale pink. Nice mouthfeel and depth with a slight bitter edge to the fruit. This was our go to Rose in 2019 at a price point of about $12 locally here in Portland. As the other production houses with more exclusive images like Stoller and Drouhin have raised prices on their PN Rose this was a nice alternative to locate. Recommend

I believe this is a 50 - 50 mix of Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. I have always like this producer's wines in the past, but this blend does not do it for me. There is the sharp, grassy front of SB but the Viognier does not bring enough fruit to balance this out, leaving a somewhat bitter finish. To me it's a bad marriage and the couple should split up and go their separate ways.
