Touch of butter in this. Both liked, but not all that classic in style

This may need another six months in bottle. Right now, atypical; much more mineral charachter than I expected. Shelfish wine.

Black raspberry, raspberry, hint of strawberry, maybe. Light flavors withoutlosing body weight. Nice.

PnP and drank over two hours. This has matured nicely into a very traditional Brunello. Fantastic, intense nose. Spice--oregano, basil. Tobacco, dark fruit--blackberry mostly. This was excellent, but not the "unique" wine I had when it was much younger

A bit of funck on the nose. Dark fruit and more of a backbone than the Selvapiana we had first. Splt decision re: which wine we preferred

Soft and (dark)fruity. Medium length. A Tuesday night pizza wine

It's like someone bought the worst fruit they could find in Chianti Classico and slapped a "Kirkland" label on it. Gives bulk wine a bad name.

This is young, hold 5-10 years.
4 hour slo-ox followed by two hours in the decanter and it needed all of that air. Significant tannins at the start. Espresso, dark chocolate, cassis. Somewhat reticent black and blue fruit. Nice wine that needs time. 93+

PnP and drank over 4 hours. The nose became much more expressive but the flavor softened, maybe faded a bit.
Fantastic bottle. Clearly identifiable Neri, weighty but with much more elegance than their other offerings. Gorgeous darker color. Violets, spice, red/black fruit. Excellent length
Strikes me as ready enough to drink

PnP, which is the play now. Gorgeous red cherry and violets nose. Aged nicely with a balanced palate of red/black fruit and secondary elements. Cola, coffee, graphite, olive? Great body. Drink now

Best American white I've had besides Realm's Fidelio. Touch of balanced butter. Otherwise drinks like a jacked-up Chateauneuf Blanc

Odd red wine aftertaste. Still, better than the last bottle (2008)

Pleasant to the point that I would buy it again, but lacks some Brunello typicity. Traces to producer Pinino

There's a fair load of butter here but also some decent floral/fruity complexity. Not my style, but a well-made wine

Liked this, despite the awkward bottle shape. Just the right fruitiness. But is there anything more depressing than a large punt when you pour the last glass?
Buy again

Slo-ox for six hours and drank over the next three. The air clearly softened it. Great body. Black olive, some dark fruit, but this is not a fruity Brunello. Maybe graphite/mineral/spice. Very good length.

Big Brioche nose. Exceptionally Dry, mineral. BW likes more than I do, which is no surprise given the dry profile

Bitter and lacking the creaminess of the 2020.
Second bottle 3/29/24 same as the first. Better warmer but still not good

PNP and drank over two nights without any change. HUGE blueberry, blueberry syrup, but with perfectly balanced tannin and acidity to carry it off. Hedonistic, and a pleasure to drink now.

Bought from the winery a bit over four years ago. An hour or two in the decanter Really softened the tannins here. Clove, eucalypptus, olive, cherry, plum. Decent length. Nice Barolo and drinkable now.
