RJ reference point tasting (Chez himes): Great nose, medium finish. This reminds me of the typical Oregon williamette valley pinot. Tart cherries, bright. More alcohol than expected. Not much on the berry side.:-)

Bright, fruity tart cherry and raspberry notes, heavy alcohol upon opening. Did not open up as much as expected when decanted and sitting for three hours. Very nice pinot for food.

Earthy, deep purple, floral.....all I remember: $89.00 @ l'auberg chez Francois. Cheapest margaux they had. Paired with lobster bisque: not good. With onion soup: excellent. With boulliabase ok; Alsace seafood with lobster reduction: ok.
