A not bad wine for the price. A little sweet on the tongue with a bit of a funky finish. It did open up some after an hour. I liked the wine and would purchase it again.

Not a bad little wine. Nice for everyday quaffing. Served it with grilled hamburgers and it matched very nicely.

Held up nicely to spicy and sweet Asian style ribs. My guests really liked it too. Hard to argue with this wine and at the sales price, a good bargain.

Deep ruby red with a flavor to match. Served it with my Asian ribs and it held up very nicely.

I am not a big fan of Cab Franc. It always tastes too much like green pepper. This particular Cab Franc was very different. The green pepper taste was there, but understated. Very much to my liking. This wine has a great nose and a nice long finish. I was very pleasantly surprised by this wine.

This wine had been sitting in my cellar for almost ten years. I thought it was past its prime. I opened it and served it with cheese and crackers. I was absolutely wrong. This wine was drinking at its peek and will probably be good to drink for 5 or 10 more years. Lovely wine and a pleasant surprise for me and my guest. Wish I had more of this little gem.

Very nice wine, but it needs a couple of hours to open up. We had it for Christmas dinner with prime ribs and it held up very nicely to a hardy meal.

Beaucastel is one of my all time favorite wines. This wine needs a couple of hours to breath, so plan accordingly. I served it with grilled New York strip steak and portobello mushroom with a relish of onions, sun dried tomatoes and celery, topped with two cheese. The wine held up to the food and was a perfect match.

A well balanced Riesling with just a hint of sweetness. I tasted the wine at a friends house. We drank it with oysters on the half shell. Just a perfect pairing.

A classic buttery chardonnay with a nice long finish. This wine does not have the harsh acidity that is often found in white wines and that is a real plus. This is a wine that I will purchase again.

A just perfect bottle of wine. I can tell you about the nose and finish, but there are professional reviews that will do a better job. I served it with ribeye steak and it paired perfectly. Ok, I will say something about the finish, it went on for a country mile.

This wine is at it's peak. Just great, with well balanced tannins. I served it with lamb chops and it was the perfect pairing. I wish I had more of this great wine.

I liked this wine. It has a strong green pepper taste. That is the Cab Franc coming out. I drank it over the course of an evening and served it with steak. It held up to the steak and was a nice complement to the mea. As the wine opened up the bitter pepper taste (this is not necessarily bad) diminished and it started to taste more like a traditional red wine. Also, I like the winery, they are dog friendly.

Fruit forward with a hint of sweetness. I think it would go great with lamb. I served it with hanger steak and it did a great job of complementing the meal, especially as I served the steak with sweet potatoes. Very nice wine and a great value for the money.

We took a bottle to a local Belgian Restaurant. This wine is drinking perfectly. The tannins are well balance and it is just a joy to sip - perfect with a long smooth finish. It was great out of the bottle, but in about a half hour it open up and was even better. I had the wine with a beet salad and rack of lamb. I was just blown away by this wine. Plus I still have two bottles left in my cellar.

This is my favorite Pinot. Fruit forward by not in the way many American Pinots tend to be. A nice compromise between the austere Burgundian style and the fruity American style.
