Best showing yet, dark fruited with wonderful balance between tannin and fruit. I think this is in the early drinking window now.

The oak influence is becoming a bit more prominent, I preferred these when younger.

I wish this wine was still available for purchase, in any vintage. It always sells out immediately.

Mature and leaking a little bit but sound and drank very well. I would not hold these any longer.

A bit tired, these bottles have shown some variability even though stored identically and purchased from the same source. Hoping for the best with the 2 remaining.

For me the oak overshadows the fruit at this stage. Last bottle so won’t ever learn if the oak will integrate.

A bit of heat, strong fruit flavors still, otherwise very sound for this 15 year old Syrah.

This bottle was far better than the previous, mostly resolved with dark fruits and plum on display. Took a few minutes to settle down after opening but I am happy to have 3 more and a mag for the future.

First time with this vineyard and was very impressed. Very elegant for a 2015 and definitely entering it's early drinking window. Dark cherry and plum with persistence.

Showing very well already, still has some tannin to shed and not as profound as the single vineyard wines but very good.

There is still a vanilla oak character that I am not in love with. Seems like others think this is in prime time right now, but for me a bit more rest is in order.

Started off a bit subdued but really grew into a nice cherry, earthy iron flavor and nice persistence. Probably not getting any better at this point, but drinking very well.

Slightly mahogany toned red. Tons of leather on the palate and nose and very acidic for me, to the point of being too much and lean. Not sure where this is headed. May be an off bottle.

From Magnum. Celebrating having the family together for Thanksgiving, this was a pop and pour and enjoyed greatly by all during the preparation of Thanksgiving diner. Cocoa and cherry flavour profile, mild tannin but not completely resolved, likely due to format. Many have said drink up on this bottle and with 750's that may be wise, but mag's of the 07 are doing well and I think have a few years to go before this goes beyond my preference into declining maturity.

Really stellar showing. Stored offsite since release. Color was dark with rim that started to clear but no bricking. Wine was nearly perfect and at 14 years there's no reason to wait. Still a bit of tannin, cocoa dark fruit, alcohol in check. Lovely.

Really bummed about this one as this bottle has been in my cellar since purchase in '15 and I had really high hopes. Upon opening there was an off cardboard smell and taste. Not the worst but it was enough to render this bottle very subpar. Color was beautiful, hope my remaining bottles show better.

This bottle was perhaps a bit tired, holding out more hope for my remaining one. Took awhile to sort itself after opening, and then presented more herbal and spicy than fruited. A bit spritzy on the tongue at first.

Dark and not really bricking yet, not throwing much if any sediment. Good but not exciting, a lot of time in the cellar did not seem to produce magic in this case.

From Magnum. Opened on new years eve as a pop and pour, it was best after it had 30 minutes to open up. The tannin was fully resolved and what was left was soft and supple dark berries and mocha. I normally do not hold Pride Cab Franc this long, but from magnum it was still very enjoyable.

Very dark color still for a 15 year old, no bricking. Foresty but with soft, dark fruit and a hint of backbone still in the form of a slight bitterness on the finish. It definitely needed a long sleep in the cellar. Cork was a bit dry but the seal was sound.

A surprising 92 as there were visible signs of leakage and the foil was ballooned outwards. Cork was in moderate condition but really soft. The wine was tasty, and had not turned the corner towards the toastier versions of Rhys that I've had lately. I pulled my 2 remaining bottles of this (that also showed signs of seepage) from storage so and hopefully will enjoy them over the holidays.
