It's interesting to see the previous notes on this wine because it was incredibly juicy and opulent today. Rich and forward but with appropriate supporting acidity. It was really in the zone.

this was everything you'd want from mid priced CdP but it did throw a ton of sediment so I should have fully decanted. ready.

This one a hair pruney. Perhaps time to drink up or just an off bottle.

beautiful and agile, this isn't as robust as many 08, instead more delicate. Shows thyme and vanilla on the nose with increasing vanilla pastry cream on the palate. Importantly though, it stays lithe and is never too rich. A beautiful wine.

A bit open knit at first but then firmed up over an hour with the acidity building. A powerful wine.

This was fantastic. it's got big plush Riesling fruit up front, then on the palate transitions swiftly to slate and minerals, finishing clean. Exciting.

This was really fantastic and just about everything you'd want from aged Oregon Pinot. Once the initial aromas blew off we saw dried savory herbs on a very expressive nose. The fruit was pure and clean reminding me of Beaune. Just a hint of acid and bitterness that kept us coming back for more. 13% but tasted even a touch lighter than that.

Raiding the Cellar (Castagna): classic cherry, pepper, all there, not awkward at all, amazing youthful, exciting, invigorating. Fascinating in that you can drink it now with pleasure but should last indefinitely too.

Raiding the Cellar (Castagna): The bottle was opened an hour before tasting and tasted over the course of 3 hours.

My notes: "at first fresh grass and the granite and texture of a grüner then after an hour, salty saline and petrol. 2 hours later, wet granite, sweet bruised apple, celery seed, green freshly cut jalapeño. At hour 3, cotton candy and baked sugar cookies, showing rich and full like a ripe grower champagne. Finally passion fruit and candle wax with the persistent jalapeño again.

At first porcini mushrooms then gaining sweetness with air transitioning toward chanterelles. an hour later, more like a champagne with lemon and underripe pineapple. Similar to a flat BdB.
