Slightly rustic with gritty tannins, ripe cherries, sour raspberries, cold bacon, fried mushrooms and dry tobacco. Classy Barolo. Totallyenjoyable.

Dark sweet blueberry fruit, raw meat and incense. Mostly gobs of sweet fruit, but also hints of spicyness and a Little licorice.

This is really quite good. Dark and dense pinot fruit with dark berries, rubber, cinnamon and hints of rose petals. Nice concentration with good balance between sweet fruit and structure. Recommendable.

Round, soft fleshy red fruit. Easygoing vanilla sweetness. Not great wine, but fun to drink.

Somewhat diluted. Rubbery red fruit. Got to be a die hard pinot lover to like this. I am.

Pretty consistent note. This time with duck roast which suited the wine well.

Uhm. This has plenty of everything. Maybe not the most elegant of pinots, but extremely pleasing. Drinks great now as it has plenty of fruit, nicely integrated oak and some age-driven complexites as well...

Nice masculine yet refined pinot with a slight touch of oak as well as a little tobacco. Very enjoyable.

Seethrough red with brownish purple tint. Lovely pinot nose with cherries, mushrooms and freshly moved lawn. Sweet, round, spicy with refreshing acidity. Certainly proves that value can be found i Burgundy even at the generic level.

A bit dull. It is elegant and has plenty minerals, but I lack to hedonistic nuttiness as well as some crisp sharpness that has been there in earlier vintages.

Dark spicy fruit, hints of coffee, leather and Tobacco. Lacks a Little bit of structure to be truly great, but is agreable drinking.

Sweet dark fruit and vanilla. Easy to drink and enjoy and just has enough acidity and a little magic sprinkle of Italian dust to make it agreable.

Highpitched, tart, redfruited. Almost burgundian, but more dusty and gradually becomes more earthy as well. Should be interesting to follow.

Considering price and level this was quite stellar! Nice tart red fruit with some earthy complexities I wouldn't normally expect at this level. Very decent. Recommended.

This has really come around since 8 months ago. Nose of dark berries, freshly ground coffee and green farm like flavors (positive ones!) Very easy to drink og quite pleasing. Highly recommended.

Dark berries, coffee, tomatoes, garlic and wet forrest floor. Smooth and very pleasing. This is a satisfying somewhat complex pleaser. Not bad.

Dark color. Intense grenache nose with dark bitter fruit and hints of stables and leather. Nice acidity and a few tannins. More like a baby chateauneuf more than a refreshing CdR. Best with food.

Nose of dark fruits, anis, cinnamon and smoked meat. Velvety fruits, nice acidity and gritty tannins. Good length. The unbareable youthful sweetness is almost gone. Great wine.

I found this to be quite approacheable and very lovely already. Red forrest fruit, freshly cut tobacco, peppery spices, earth and soy. Nice balance and much more true to its terroir than most 05s on release.

I don't know... I'm a huge fan of Pegau, but this one was strange. Very intense smell of barnyeard and dark berries. Also intense in mouth, but also a bit diluted and very acidic. I think perhaps the brett in this bottle has gotten out of control. My wife though it smelled rotten. Will reserve judgement till I try another one.

Black fruit and nicely integrated Wood. It has started hinting at secondary spicy and earthy nuances, but otherwise doesn't seems to have changed much since release. Drink now or store. Both will work.

Dark and brooding cab with an emphasis on dark meaty fruit and loads of sweet spice from the oak (vanilla, cinnamon). Surely enjoyable, but I missed some coolness and acidity to bring balance to the wine.

I found this to be very enjoyable. A smooth (almost seamless) nicely balanced cab. A bit on the sweet side, but not too much. No doubt the relative low alcohol level at 13,9 played a role in making this wine elegant and seducing rather than heavy.

Quite accesible and enjoyable. Less tannic and concentrated than previously, but I would still describe as more "modern" than "elegant". Soft red and black fruit, vanilla and spices. Very nice.

My first Muscadet in two years since visiting France in 2010. Has however enjoyed a few other crisp wines based on the Melon de Bourgogne grape. This is very enjoyable. Very light and crisp. Yet also very intense and clear with crisp white fruit and tons of steel.

Pure sangiovese. Dark fruit - plums, cherries. Hints of coffee and blood. Easy to drink with few fine tannins. Very nice quality price ratio. Stylewise closer to Montalcino than Chianti.

Bought on a recent trip to Tuscany. Estate is owned by the US owners of Williams-Selyem. This is obviously under "american" influence. Very fruit forward with soft dark fruit. Yet also with tuscan spices. Quite enjoyable.
