Tired but incredibly mineral. Like biting into an oyster shell.

Very tight upon opening. Garnet color. Slight hints of burg, but was a difficult blind. Opened up nicely the next day, no mouse.

Punches way above it’s weight class. Crunchy, slightly dirty, cool black pepper side of cab franc. Will mouse but not too fast.

My favorite bottle of this cuvee I’ve had. Serious chard nose. Jura like palate. Tropical fruit. Electric. Gorgeous finish.

Elegant, youthful, but showing some tertiary notes from its age. Carbonic with a hint of savory. Drink now.

Fine bubbles, complex nose showing lots of sides of champagne—green apple, yogurt, raw dough, and hints of used oak and oxygen. Tart, but complex on the palate. Overall, not my style, but still great.

Built like Chenin. Suggestion of over ripeness or botrytis — some RS or suggestion of it, viscous, big.

I think Bigotes is a better buy. A bit wobbly and imprecise for my liking.

Pretty floral and peachy nose. One note was raspberry Jamba Juice and I see it. Quick to mouse.

High VA upon opening that subsided slightly. Lees, fairly ripe, but fair amount of acid. Palette was fresh and dense. I would hold on longer and drink in a few years to see how it resolves.

An unpleasant rubber blows off quite fast. The concentration is very low, which disappointed a bit, but it’s an enjoyable wine. Definitely serve chilled.

Rich and showy. Ripe chard notes just shy of tropical. Generous and could use time/decant. Good QPR even at current high prices.

Pristine bottle purchased in Vienna. Showed beautifully on day 1 and had quite a bit of power. Mellowed out into elegance on day 2. Drink soon.

Showed beautifully. Just right VA, nice autolytic notes. Palate is very round and just right from the bubbles. Nice cold even if it blocks some fruit.

Drank in Reims (€160). Powerful but contemplative. Clearly 2010 is a big vintage, but this wine is perfectly balanced. Not sure how it could be better.

No huge change day 2. Eventually drank it after carrying it around in the heat—no bubbles and slightly warm, and you could still taste the magic in it. I hope I can drink this wine again.

Drank at verre vole, kept for day 2.

Lovely aperitif with enough tension to go into the meal. Rose is not really my thing, but this has enough texture and flavor to keep me interested. Lots of Strawberry on the nose, some spice on the palate, but doesnt drink like 13,5 when chilled.

Better than the skin contact version of this wine and cheaper. Higher acid. Not characteristic of savagnin at all, but an interesting wine.

Good, but didn’t show too well after a night of natural wines. Could’ve probably used a decant. Folks had a hard time blinding it. Thought it was from a warmer part of France.

Bretty nose blows off after a few minutes and reveals very nice ripe red and black fruit. Palette is Burgundian and seems to be vinified with old oak. No carbonic. Long finish. Excellent wine, easily enjoyable and interesting enough to be special.

Tiny bit of mouse and VA after about an hour. Really intriguing pickle nose. I didn’t think it had much savagnin or Jura character—impossible to blind i think. Overall good but low QPR.

Nice medium body wine without much heat, tannins, and frankly, flavor. It's a nice food wine, and I'm not a huge fan of reds.

Pale, almost clear, straw color. Flat and closed, perhaps just young. Nice but weak nose, white, maybe yellow fruit. Tart, decent acidity, but extremely flat.

What a flat wine! The bouquet and taste are one-dimensional, little bit of tart fruit. The wine is weak and the taste is gone before you swallow it. Also, the acidity feels more weird the mouth and lets through a lot of heat. Sancerre is perhaps my favorite region and I was hoping I had a sub-$20 staple, but no such luck! Suppose I'll have to continue shelling out >$20 for the good stuff.

This was a decent chard, but nothing special. The QPR on these local and farmer's market wines generally isn't great. Still, the Finger Lakes make great big whites.

QPR, as they say on their label--it's the Pinor Noir you can afford to drink every day. Great body, full of luscious fruits. Definitely the wine to get if you're not big on big reds like me.

This is a spectacular wine. It is a balance between delicious notes and acidity, and drink-ability and sweetness. Nice tart fruits--apple and pear-- on the nose. Great taste, doesn't linger too long, but the sweetness and acidity work great with anything you'd pair a Riesling with! Will be buying more, especially for events and gatherings and ladies.

The finger lakes are great for these kinds of whites!

Medium straw color with a hint of green. Terrific aroma with some complexity, I can't even pick all of it up! Definitely floral, with some apple and pear going on as well. Acidity is just right, pretty good balance and the finish is sweet and of medium length. I'm really enjoying this wine right now!

Pale straw color. Nice fruity nose. Nice acidity, but seriously lacking in taste. No fruit, just a kind of gritty or vegetal taste. Not a fan, but it's a decent SBlanc for the price, you don't feel the 13% in your mouth, which is nice. Would try this producer again.

Not impressive. Fairly flat and light, without too much flavor. A good wine for a meal or cheese I guess. Tasted better on the second day oddly enough.
