Really nice. Brownish at the rim. Wonderful on the nose, with some sherry like hints, barnyard notes and a little buttery. Taste was strawberrys with soft tanins. Lingered for 20 seconds plus, with surprisingly strong taste of fresh dark berries. Really good! Perfect now.

On the nose: leather, red fruit and black currant and licorice and barn yard notes. On the palate: well balanced, well rounded but not lacking acidity. Not as full bodied as expected but with nice finish. Evolved after1 hour in the decanter.

From memory: Very elegant wine, with silky tanins. Nice on the nose. Very good length, wich I think is due to the beautiful oak treatment. Though it feels not as concentrated as I would have wished, a bit watery.

Boring, to harsh, one dimensional, lacking depth, not price worthy. Maybe drunk to young.

Maybe drunk to young for my taste. Decanted for 1h. Dark and opaque. Lots of cassis. Tanins somewhat edgy, but quite balanced non the less. Think it needs a little bit more time.

Brownish on the rim. Initial smell of volatile acids? (acetone, glue), intense barnyard flavours with leather/saddle notes. Also some cherry notes. On the palate there is lots of dried fruits, figs, plum and cherry. Very soft mouthfeel and really good lenght. Want more!
White - Sweet/Dessert

Intense smell with lots of honey and stable? on the nose. More honey on the palate. Not a lot of acidity. Rich and fat texture. Long taste.

Fairly balanced, but you could realy smell/taste the alcohol. Very similar to an amarone (that was the intent), wich it compared good to. Tannins was quite smooth. Drinking well now.

Wow! Honey both in appearance and on the nose, also hints of elderberries. Honey on the palate, with soft but youthfull acidity. Great bottle!

Absolutely fabulous bottle! Brick-red to brownish red. Lovely cherry and toffee on the nose. On the palate there is cherry and hints of redcurrants. Also some brie cheese? The texture is silky with well rounded tannins. Good lenght! Very good balance between power and finesse.

Cigar box and some coffe beans on the nose. Nothing special really, and quite light weight on the palate.

Very elegant and subtle. Maybe this bottle wasn't really ready to drink yet. A bit dull though.

Had higher hopes than this. Weak on the nose and palate. It might would have needed decanting.

Not my kind of wine. Smelled like cooked cabbage, thin on the palate.

Also smelled like cooked cabbage, like the 75 did. Long past its peak.

Perfectly mature right now. Favourite of the night compared to Lehman Brothers the Barossa Shiraz 03 and de Bortoli Shiraz 05.
