Brilliant bottle with a warm rooibos-colour on the wine. Quite mute on the nose at first, but relatively soon tones of forest floor, forest berries, cherry, oak and leather appear.
Very smooth and quite rich on the palate with good, lingering acidity and ripe, dark cherry and tobacco. Very good now, possibly at its peak with both fruit and more complex tertiary tones.
We had it with a reindeer filet and a rich potatoegratin.

Good, complex and still very fresh with remarkable acidity. Notes of cherry and strawberry, and typical syrah characteristics like liver sausage or blood! Rounded tannins with good length but not fullbodied, and in this case that is not bad or poor, rather the opposite, a sign of maturity and complexity. Very good!

Mature nose with red berries (strawberry and raspberry) and a touch of smoke and leather. Very smooth and silky with plenty of fruit left, good acidity with mature notes of sandalwood and soil? A beautiful bottle!

Ganska krallig rioja med inslag av mörka bär, fat, blöt skogsmark!, läder och lite tobak. Fylligt, strukturerat med lite bitiga tanniner och med en något eldig avslutning är det här en riktigt bra flaska med många år kvar i topp.

Expressive and yet elegant nose with notes of cherry, rose hip, stables and some licorice.
Fresh and quite light on the palate, the wine is nevertheless a good example of Barolo, with marked but rounded tannins, good acidity and a chewy texture. This is now reaching maturity, but with lots of life and energy left. Excellent!

Rich, complex nose with tones of black berries, plums, pepper, violets and chocolate-mints.
Rich, fruity and nuanced on the palate with black berries, pepper and lingonberries. Almost fullbodied with good acidity, noteable tannins and a good, long finish. A beutiful wine! Very good now and probably another ten years.

Beautiful amber coloured wine.
Rich, expressive nose with tones of toffe, burnt sugar, dried fruit, chocolate and orange marmelade.
On the palate there is sweetness, but also a long, vibrant acidity and a nutty touch not unlike an old amontillado. And like someone already mentioned: the aftertaste goes on forever!

Last time I drank this wine, it was the 2010 vintage. I didn't like it! According to my note the bottle lacked backbone and soul. I think I've change more than the wine.
This has a direct and spicy nose with lingon- and blueberries. There are some oak and pepper aswell!
On the palate the wine is mediumbodied with plenty of fruit, spices, very good acidity, gentle tannins and a good finish.
A charming and easygoing wine!

A beautiful bottle! Plenty of dark fruit left, but structure and complexity is getting the overhand. Blackcurrant, blueberry, licorice, violets, leather, oak, some ceder....
Very good length and although this is close to its peak in my opinion, there is plenty of life and years in it yet.
I had it with mufflon patties and a chanterell sauce.

Really dark, with blue and deep ruby in the center. Some brownish tones on the brim.
Rich, complex and mature nose with dark berries, oak, herbs, violets and and an animalistic, meaty note.
On the palate the wine is smoothe and mature, with a solid structure and some complexity. There is enough acidity to make it lively and vibrant, with very good length and it's not without fruit.
Will hold for several years yet, but very good now.

This is very good, and with a nice qpr. Light ruby red colour with brick nuances.
Expressive and complex nose with dark berries, lingonberries, cocoa, laurel, oak and mediterranean spices.
On the palate there is still plenty of tannins (smoother second day), good acidity, medium bodied and rich in flavour with spices, dark fruit and a touch of dried fruit.
I had it with a salsiccia pasta, and it was an ok combo.
Will hold for at least another 5 years. Good now and will possibly get better!

Definitely a very good bottle of wine!
Deep ruby colour, with a rich scent of blackcurrent, blackberries and dark cherry. Less prominent, and emerging after some time in the decanter, tobacco and cigarbox.

This is almost fullbodied, with primary notes and just beginning to show a more complex and developed palate. What really strikes me is the smooth satin-like texture of the wine. Good acidity, round tannins and with a very good length, I find the finish a little fiery.
In my humble opinion this bottle was too young. If I had another bottle I would let it rest for at least another five years.

Light straw coloured.

Aromatic and pleasant, typical nose with nuances of lemon, pears, blackcurrant leafs, herbs and honeysuckle.

Light-bodied but with some viscosoty, racy but balanced acidity with nuances of lemon, pear, blackcurrant leafs and minerals. Good length and a good mouthwatering finish!

Fin fruktig näsa med inslag av citrus, zest och smör. Frisk, men viskös och lite fet i munnen med inslag av citrus, zest, ek, smör och lite beska örter i finishen. Gott, och står pall flera år till! Passar bra till stekt fisk, kyckling eller fläsk med lite citrus i tillbehören.

Colour: ruby red, rather dark for a PN.
Nose: strawberry, raspberry, cherry, clove, pepper, sandalwood...very rich and quite complex.
Palate: smooth, fresh (good acidity), long and with a good body (chewier than your avarage PN) with red fruit and spices. A very nice bottle of wine.
Will hold for a few years, possibly even get better.

Lots of red fruit, vanilla and some chocolate (roasted oak). This is still young, but very drinkable. Intense and mediumbodied with smooth tannins and good acidity. Modern rioja in the sense being rich in fruit, but with the typical, traditional vanilla from the oak.
Good but will get better. (375 cl bottle).

A lovely bottle of wine!

A mature nose with nuances of dark fruit (plums, blackcurrant, blackberry) leather, oak and a touch of meat or blood sausage.

Likewise, there is a mature palate with dark fruit with notes of oak, spices and herbs. Fullbodied, with rounded and stucturing tannins, this is remarkably good for the price. It's ready now!

Jag har druckit åtskilliga årgångar av det här vinet, men det här är den bästa hittills. Tydliga rieslingtoner med en viss mognad i form av petroleum, gul stenfrukt, äpplen och lite sälta eller mineral. Riktigt bra syra och fin längd. Frisk och fräsch men ändå med lite komplexitet och mognad! 89-90 p.

Inte varje dag man dricker ett vin på 100% mazuelo. Mazuelo, graciano och garnacha är typiska "balansdruvor" i klassiska riojaviner. Här lirar den solo!
Rik och komplex doft med tydliga fat som kommer fram i toner av viol, choklad, mörk söt frukt, lagerblad och örter.
Smakrikt, fruktigt och fatigt, med mycket bra syra som balanserar upp all smak och faten. Mycket runda tanniner ger ändå struktur och det finns inget att klaga på vad gäller längden. Håller flera år än och kan nog utvecklas bra.
Ett spännande och roligt vin!

Doften bjuder på päron, melon och aromatiska, söta vita blommor. I munnen är vinet fylligt med lite oljighet som förstärker sötman, men här finns en balanserande syra och friskhet. Bra längd och med aningen hetta i avslutet. Gott!

A fantastic bottle of wine! Big, complex, rich and expressive but not too much or over the top!
Brick-red, almost brown or rooibos-coloured.
A rich complex nose with dark cherry, violets, cigarbox, licorice, soil and herbs! At first the oak dominate, but with some time and air it fades away.
The tannins are still there, but very round. Good length and just lovely. Ready to drink and it will hold, but I doubt it will get better.

Dark, ruby red.
Balanced and fairly complex nose with dark fruit (black current, plums), leather, cigar box and spicy and a little fiery finish.

On the palate the wine is mediumbodied plus, with a lovely, balancing acidity, soft but structuring tannins and a fair amount of dark fruit. This is a good mouthfilling bordeaux with good length and finish that will hold for several years yet.

I really enjoyed this bottle, excellent pinot noir!
Expressive nose with fruit caramel, raspberry, strawberry, cherry, herbs, white pepper and soil or dirt.Quite a distinguished nose!
Fruity and smooth on the palate, with the roundest of tannins and a very well balanced acidity. Fruity and flirty but with enough structure not to loose balance and elegance. Will hold for a few years, but this is ready in my opinion.

A very good meursault with all the trademarks.
Round, smooth and yet with good acidity and balance. Rich nose with nuances of citrus, some yellow stonefruit, lanolin and butter, and likewise on the palate. Very good now but I think this will hold just fine for at least 3-4 years in the cellar.

Still very good! Mature, with notable but integrated oak, lots of taste and nuance and still with enough acidity and freshness. 91 p.

Colour: Light red, and not entirely clear.

Nose: discrete, with red berrys, particulary ripe strawberries and lingonberries, sandalwood, spices (pepper, cinnamon) and -unfortunately - just a touch of sulphur.

Palate: smooth, light, elegant, nuanced and a little spicy, with very mild tannins and very good length.

Reaching maturity, but will hold and in some palates improve for another few years.

This would accompany a spring chicken with roasted potatoes, sugarsnaps and a touch of rowan jelly if I could choose.

A complex, expressive and lovely bouquet tells me that this is good stuff.

A touch of wool, notes of almonds, yellow flowers and yellow stonefruit on the nose.

I definitely think there is enough acidity to balance the ample (stone)fruit, and there is also good length with a mineral finish.
A mature wine, and in my book an excellent food wine.

I had with a chicken stew with mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes, a zip of the wine and plenty of fresh basil.

I still have another bottle, and I will drink it within a couple of years. It will hold, but I doubt it will get better.

Pretty much the same, but just a bit lamer. I would say that this has past its peak and is going downhill.

I didn't take any notes on this bottle, I just enjoyed it with a pork tenderloin, a creamy chanterell sauce and hasselbackspotatoes.

However, it stood out with elegance, red fruit and satin-like texture, soft tannins and a very good and long spicy finish.

Effortless elegance and still with lots of flavour!

This was a very nice bottle with aromas of black current and blueberry, with a hint of smoke, roasted coffee and pepper.
Mediumbodied plus on the palate, with good tannines to structure all the dark frukt, decent acidity and a warm finish. Early maturity with time on its side, but good now.
