Clean, expressive classic Nebbiolo nose with dried florals, tar, minerality and cherry fruit. Deep garnet in color with some bricking, slow tears. Medium bodied with medium + tannin, medium + acidity, medium alcohol. Flavors of plums, spiced cherry pie dominate. Nice balance right now, finishes a bit short.

Clear medium ruby, slow tears. Clean, medium- intensity nose of simple red fruit with a slight forest note. Developing. Very subdued red fruit and not much else on the palate. Medium+ body, medium+ alcohol, medium+ acidity, very grippy tannins. Closed up tight at this tasting.

Clear, bright ruby in the glass with watery edge, thin tears. Clean, medium+ intensity nose with red fruit, dried leaves, salinity. Medium bodied in the mouth with flavors of sweet dark cherries and strawberries, cranberry, baking spice. Medium acidity, some high-toned tannins, length is slightly lacking. Good balance overall for the price point. Drink now.

Deep ruby. Clean, medium intensity expressive nose of bramble fruits with earth and spice. In the mouth: cherries and strawberries, earth, woodsmoke, spice. Medium body, tannins, and acidity. Nicely balanced overall with a slightly truncated finish.

Deep clear ruby; thin slow tears; clean expressive nose of red fruit, spice, wood, flowers. In the mouth: medium+ intensity sweet fruit with lots of strawberry and cherry, spices, oak, florals, graphite. Medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium length finish with a bit of bitter citrus coming out. Very nicely done.

Medium length finish with cranberry, unripe peach, bit of toastiness. Drinking well at this point but still evolving.

Good acidity and velvety, refined tannins stand up to the big fruit here, putting everything in very nice balance. Evolves nicely the longer it lingers in the glass with flavors coming and going.
