Underrated wine, especially if you appreciate the Martini winemaking style. Great texture amplifies a blue fruit profile. I would put it in the class with Kamen Cab most vintages. Very good for a ~$110 price point.

Good but not up to the level of the 2018.

Well built but not my style. Black fruit driven to an extreme. Still you and will smooth out over time but will never hit by sweetspot.

This wine is peaking right now, great QPR from an excellence Cabernet house in Combsville. Faust always bring quality for the price from entry to their premium Cabs.

That said, I would drink up what you have in the next 1-2 years.

This wine is on the downside, which surprises me. While the nose is still strong, the body of the wine is starting to lose structure. I thought it was better days ahead but I recommend drinking what you have. I had a case and on the last bottle.

Interesting wine, high scores but never really got there for me. At this price I expect more.

Iconic wine but nowhere near the 97-99 pt ratings. This version is excellent and enjoyed with a Tuscan ribeye and a side of Parmesan noodles.

Brilliant wine from what's becoming one of the most consistent Cabernet houses in the valley.

I rate this wine fairly well considering the price point and terroir. Secondary wine for Tenuta but nice for a weekday and pairs well with food. Can hold up to a steak as well.
I enjoyed this with a beef cheek ragu and it was nice, although a Cali cab would have held serve just as well or better!

I straddled 93 and 94 points on this one. I have a case and it has improved since 2017. Tannins have smoothed and likely in it's prime. Awesome fruit and feels like a hybrid valley floor / spring mountain even though I believe it's all SM.
Hard to complain with a wine this good but not the top echelon this wine should strive to achieve. Still very good.

Solid Cabernet grown in a slightly cooler temperature in Coombsville. Full credit to Faust for creating a solid value wine from the Napa Valley.

I'm a wine club member because I think thewine and experience at Kamen is top notch. The 2015 has come a ways in 8 months. I love this wine year in year out. Winner.

Unfortunately doesn't live up to the hype. Not sure why given some good previous vintages. QPR just isn't there.

Good win so far, don't love it yet. 2013 and 2014 were better early on, but this 2015 is a different vintage and a couple years to develop on its own.

First bottle I have opened of this vintage of the Napa Valley Cab. Coravin pour of one glass may not be a fair marker. Will pop the bottle Saturday and re-score after some air. Expect a one point improvement at most.

I found the 2012 Tomahawk to be an amazing wine with depth and true SLD character. I find the 2014 average and poor QPR. It's such a great wine when done well and Chimney Rock needs to insure this delivers in good vintages, which is most these days.

This wine has improved in a major way IMO. I am trying to think of how the 15 and 15 vintages compare to this. Overall, great value and drinking so well now. Worth the wait.

Really like the 2016 Mason's. Impressive bottling of Lewis's entry level Cab. Great high end first wine on a Friday night with the right starters, before unveiling the star wine for dinner.

91 may be generous. Have six bottles and letting grap evolution play out another year for the last three.

Opened on Thanksgiving to pair with Faust's The Pact. Just a great wine and solid value hard to come by in good economic times in NV.

I have a case of this and admit I can't stay away from it. Coombsville is generally a cooler AVA but Faust is able to produce this killer Cabernet from elevation fruit. I love it. Texture driven wine that is a nice step up from the already great Faust Cabernet.

Opened another bottle of a case purchase on Thanksgiving 2018. Consistent medium body with good texture. Stag's Leap AVA all the way. Good wine, good not great QPR depending if SL is your style.
93 is generous but 92 is unfair.

Excellent. Texture driven wine with bright fruit. So well made. Met the winemaker's team this weekend. Michel blesses this every year but a very talented team behind this wine that also create The Debate lineup. Great Stuff and good QPR!

Light bodied Cabernet lacking any sort of character. You can tell it's Napa but that's where it ends.

Not much of a step up from the Lewis Cabernet, which is a decent buy. The Reserve Lewis is not. Good wine none the less.

Second bottle of a case in my cellar. Partially exposed cork but wine was ok. Polished wine with excellent structure. One of my favorite bottles in this price class. Prefer it to the myriad G3 personally.. Enjoyed with Prime New York Strip steak

I had higher expectations for this wine based on my last tasting at Elway's in DIA a few years back. Not as concentrated as I remember. I was drinking this alongside a Myriad 2014 Three Twins which probably wasn't fair TBH.

Purchased six bottles recently. Very, very good from the writer of the Karate Kid movies, Robert Kamen. This vintage is his biggest hit to date for the estate cabernet. I also enjoyed the 2012 considerably but this is likely a step up. Would need to taste side by side.

Opened a new bottle of the 2013 from my cellar. I always consume this wine at a restaurant in Guadalajara, Mexico called Corazon Alcachofa (heart of the artichoke). Wonderful restaurant and the Malbec fits the cuisine. An unabated powerful, concentrated Malbec albeit one-dimensional.

Like a basketball point guard that always goes to his left, this wine is predictable but still usuaslly a success in the endeavor.
