Short note - initially very typical pinot, dark cherries, red berries, forest floor, a natural style, but with some air there came aromas of lanolin or wet wool, overripe berries, then it tightens up again. Its well balanced, but lacks concentration, easy drinking, not to complex, needs air, very good quality but not so good qpr. 86-87p

The wine is clear, medium straw yellow with a thin watery rime, youthfull

Nose is clean, medium intense aromas of ripe red apples, lemon, yellow flowers, mild hint of honey, lanolin, wet stone, chalk/limestone, some yellow fruit like honeydew melon, complex, developing

Palate is dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium+ flavour intensity and body and quite high dry-extract with aromas of red apples, lemon, honeydew melon, jasmin, quite mineralic, physalis, long finish

Very well balanced, but needs some time i believe. very long finish, quite intense acidity and very concentrated with a deep complexity. This is an outstanding wine, well over my expectations, 93p+

Short note - after some time in the glas, butter, pinapple, lemon, lemon candy, hint of oak, dry palate, long buttery finish, gravel like minerality if that makes any sense, still quite light and well structured with medium+ acidity, lacks some complexity and maybe some character, but still a very good quality wine, 88-89p more to come and a style i like, looking forward too the higher quality wines from the producer.

Nose is clean, after 2hr decant medium intense aromas of asfalt, ceramic, cherries, dark plum and thyme, developing

Palate is dry, medium+ acidity, tannins, alcohol, body and flavour intensity with aromas of cherries, liqourice, herbacious notes, medium finish

Well balanced, but the alcohol sticks out a bit, medium finish, quite intense wine with medium+ but lacks the complexity. Solid concentration and went very well with risotto and sirloin cooked on the yakatori grill. Very good quality and drinks well now, will probably keep for another 10 years at least, very good quality, 88-89p
