Consumed at a restaurant. The bottle was open about 45 minutes before dinner. It was terrific.

This is a very good Chardonnay. A touch of sweetness without being buttery. A set of subtle tart notes in the background.

This is a terrific wine. The bottle was open for about an hour before dinner. I like the style of all Freeman PNs, but find the KR Ranch offerings to usually be the best for a given vintage.

Earlier bottles of this wine were a disappointment. This one was OK and consistent with a good wine at its price point.

First bottle. It was a crowd pleaser at a restaurant. Was open only for about 45 minutes. That was fine. I have been buying O'Shaughnessy Cabernet Sauvignon for many years. This one is right on top on top of prior vintages.

Crowd pleaser at a cocktail hour. Was open for most of 2 hours. It needs to be open for at least an hour. Classic dark PN.

I had a great experience with this wine despite it being fairly young. It was decanted for over 2 hours........that might be the reason. It hits the classic notes I expect in a Pauillac.

Drank at a restaurant. Was so-so at first. Needed 1+ hours to open up. Will know that for the next bottle.

I seem to have had a better experience with my first bottle of this wine than is the case with other cellartracker.com tasters. The bottle was open for a little over two hours before dinner. Perhaps that contributed to my difference.

This bottle was back to OK after a couple of bad bottles. Who knows why? The bottle was open for about one and an half hours.

Good, but not quite up to earlier Wm. Cole vintages. Maybe it needs a little more time. The bottle was open for most of two hours.

Consumed at a restaurant. At first, it was a disappointment. It took most of an hour to open up. My numerical rating is based on where it went to after an hour. I should not have taken this one to a restaurant. I should have opened it a home for at least one and a half hours.....and/or decanted it.

I have always liked the style of Chardonnay that Martinelli makes. This bottle was one of the best I believe I have ever had from them. Moderate on the fruit side with a hint of crispness. Wish I had ordered more.

I have had a very up and down experience with this wine. One bottle left. I originally bought it because it had a rating that was unusually high for its price range. Some bottles have tasted like that rating. Others have not......but were still in line with one might expect given the price. This bottle definitely out performed. I just cannot explain the up and down experience.

I was disappointed in an earlier bottle of this wine.....when compared with a prior vintage. This bottle was up to my prior expectations. I guess it just took a while to come around.

This is a very different style of Chardonnay. Much more tangy and critic than is the case with most Chards. That is not necessarily a bad thing.....I like different. However, it is not up to the WS rating of 94.....at least right now.

Last bottle. After two bottles in a row where the cork broke in half, this cork was fine. These two prior bottles were not as good as earlier bottles. This bottle was back to an elevated level, as were earlier bottles before the cork problems.

I have had 2024 down as the backend year of the drink window. I think that is correct. There was a hint of something on the palette that tells me this one is ready to go into a decline.

I have had this wine for a couple of years. It has continued to improve. However, given its price range, I would expect it to plateau from here. That is at a level which is well above what one would expect for the price. Classic Rioja.

Last bottle. Like I said in a prior tasting note.....I seem to have had a better experience with this wine than has been the case with other tasters. The wine was rated 94 by the Wine Advocate. My experience has been at or just under that rating. I have had 2024 down as the last year of the drink window. That might be a little conservative as there are no signs of it tiring.

I echo another recent taster......not worth its cost. I bought this one based on a WS 94 rating. The experience is nowhere near that rating. Other cellartracker.com tasters also rate it down at this level. Hence, i cannot blame a shipping problem. Well.......you cannot win them all. Wine is not a game of perfect.

Two earlier bottles of this wine disappointed me a little both in light of the price point and the Pro ratings. This bottle was up to what I had expected. It has mellowed and was somewhat fruity for a Malbec. But the harder note of a Malbec was still lurking in the background.

This wine has been a great selection. The bottle was opened for 1+ hours before dinner. It is still drinking well, but I will drink up the last two bottles over the next year plus. Over the years, I have had some CNdPs go south quickly. No reason to risk that with something that is so good.

Consumed at a restaurant. The bottle was open for 30+ minutes. A sip right after it was opened was not that good. It needed a little time. Maybe, 30 minutes was not enough. I cannot explain why I seem to be having a better experience with this wine than is the case with other tasters. It is right on top of other Martinelli G&L wines I have had in my Wine Room.

This is a terrific bottle of wine. I have 2024 down as the last year in the drink window. One bottle left. While the wine does not show any signs of tiring, I will likely drink the last bottle later this year. It used to require a decant. This bottle was just opened for an hour and a half.....did not need a decant. Warning.......the cork broke in half.

Similar to a bottle consumed last year. Drinking very well but not up to the original Pro ratings. Decanted for 2+ hours. That was enough, but it did not evolve over the evening as some other tasters have reflected.
