Last bottle. It has been a great ride and has produced a "different" drinking experience. I have had similar experiences with other Prisoner white wines. 2024 has been the last year in my drink window for this wine. However, the wine shows no sign of being in decline at this point.

Last bottle and sorry to see it go. I have had a great experience with this wine all along the way. It was decanted for about one and a half hours. I would describe the drinking experience as classic CNdP.

I have had 2025 down as the last year in the drink window. I recall a couple of times that red wines I owned rolled over and down very quickly. In every instance, the wine was a CNdP. Those experiences have made me willing to drink up once the wine is in a good drink window.

This is what drinking Red Bordeaux is all about. The wine took a long time to get into a great drink window, but is not a surprise for a Margaux wine. The bottle was decanted for about an hour and a half. That was sufficient. Now that this wine has evolved to a great place, we should be drinking and enjoying it. I doubt it is going to get better from here. Lastly, I would describe the drinking experience as classic Margaux.

I cannot explain why I am having a better experience with this wine than is the case with other cellartracker.com tasters. The first bottle (of 6) disappointed a little in light of the high Pro ratings. Since then, the wine has been up to those ratings. It made a great drinking companion to a somewhat spicy fish dish.

Just like a bottle consumed earlier this year. Still drinking very well. Decanted for one and a half plus hours. One bottle left. Will likely consume it later this year. No need to risk it beginning to go south.

I had a wine store get this wine for me because of a good rating in WS. It is a terrific wine and a great value. I echo some other tasters......it is unusually complex for a SB. Most SBs tend to be a bit one-dimensional......even the very good ones. I am glad I picked this one up. I like different, and this one is very different.

I am having a different experience with this one than is the case with other tasters. Consumed at a restaurant. Open for most of an hour. It was a big hit.......so, my rating does not just reflect my view.

I had an experience with this wine last night that is completely disconnected from the other cellartracker.com tasting notes. I thought it was terrific and produced the drinking experience of a higher priced wine.. It is a deep/dark blend with a lot going on. Very complex on the palette.

I had three bottles of this wine. The first two were a big disappointment. This bottle was at least in the zip code of what I had originally expected.

I have had 2023 down as the first year in the drink window for this wine. It was a little under what I expect from Freeman PNs. Perhaps it needs to sit for a little longer. I will not rush to drink the next bottle.

This was the second bottle in a row where the cork broke in two. Similar tasting experience to the last bottle where this happened.....very mediocre and well below the experience I had with earlier bottles. I attribute the disappointment to the bad cork and not the wine rolling over at the end of the drink window.

The same as previous bottles......drinking well right now. Produces a dark/complex set of taste notes. Went well with a pasta dish.

Don't know what to make of this wine.......it produced an odd taste profile. Perhaps it was damaged during shipping. I have rarely had a bottle of Martinelli wine that has disappointed me in relation to its price point. There is some left for a second night. I will update this tasting note if appropriate.

Right on top of earlier bottles. Extremely good. This is the first Bydand wine I have had that was not a Pinot Noir. I like their PN offerings. My experience with this red blend makes me want to try other Bydand wines.

The last couple of bottles of this one were slightly off from earlier experiences. This one was back to what it was before. Very good. Drinking well with no sign of tiring. The bottle was open (no decant) for about an hour and a half in a restaurant. I have noticed that some of my earlier very good experiences came with a two hour, or so, decant. So, it is clear that this wine needs a little air in order for it to excel.

My bottles of this wine are evolving in a funny way. Prior bottles have been fine and within expectations given the price point. A bottle consumed last September had some notes of tiring. So, I decided to drink up my last two bottles. This is the second to last. I opened the bottle early and took a sip along the way. It was awful. However, after being open for one and a half hours plus, it was terrific. It was then the best bottle of the 6 I originally had.

I bought this wine a good while back based on a very good Pro rating. The first bottle was a disappointment.....not in relation to the price point, but in relation to the Pro rating. It has been just sitting for a good while. This bottle was much better and in line with the Pro rating and now a very good value. It is in a great drink window right now.
