Not a white wine drinker, but this was a truly lovely wine. Wish I had bought more.

Let me start out - I am not a white drinker, but having tasted this with a pairing meal in NYC, I bought a case. Each bottle has been sweet, a bit sour, and not particularly likable. I've tried chilling, letting it warm, letting it sit (which helps a bit), but I don't get any of the flavors I remember from this wine from a few years back.

I'm open to any thoughts anyone has, but blech.

Relatively flat. Was hoping I'd waited long enough, maybe waited too long.

The wine looks Garnet colored. The legs are Fast. It smells like Toast, and Burnt. It tastes like Oak, Vanilla, Lead Pencil, Black Pepper, and Black currant (cassis). The body is Medium. The wine has Fleshy texture. The wine finishes Medium.

This is consistently one of my favorite wines. Deep, delicious, complex. Simply fantastic.

Perhaps I opened this too soon, but it was not well balanced, and had limited extraction after 1+ hours. It was not corked, but it wasn't very good. For $100+, Bryant is going to have to step it up, if this bottle is indicative of their DB4.

Maybe I waited too long, but this was not very impressive.

Not a great showing for Sea Smoke. Tasted when open, all the way to 1 hour after. Think it may need a lot more decanting or this is just not their best effort. I plan to let it sit for a while.

Could have waited another 2 years before cracking this. Good but not great.

Tremendous bottle. Very French, but without the super earth. I'd say the best of both worlds. Buy it if you can get it for $100 or less.

This wine was superb - almost too much (and way too early) to drink. This is definitely a sipping wine - the flavors are explosive and overpowering.

My guests raved about this wine. I thought it was much heavier than a typical merlot, but not something as special as they claimed. A nice bottle to drink, but I wouldn't seek it out.

Needs at least 1-2 hours of decanting. Opens up to be a nice, unassuming wine. Not too much (which would have been ok), but good overall quality, especially for the money.

Another great one. Tempered since original release. Glad we had it now instead of waiting.

Ok. Needs more time, even for a half bottle. Finish suggests this might be a great wine, but it's very closed.

Something bizarre happened to this wine. It was delicious, but I felt as though I had been drinking all dy after finishing it.

I did not care for this wine at all out of the bottle. Several hours later it was better, but not good. Strangely, though, 1+ minute finish was great.

Surprisingly very good. Which I had waited for the rest. Matured well.

I didn't remember buying this. Assumed it was a $30 bottle. For $11, this is a great buy!

This was "ok," and was likely largely due to the short time open (1 - 1.25 hours). This needs a decent amount of time, and is very closed. Wait if you can.

Good. Light, fruit forward. Good everday wine. Worth $20, but would be better if it was $12.

This an excellent, fruit forward wine, but needs at least 2-3 hours of decanting. Loved it.
