Don't post often but this wine was absolutely a stunner from the first sip!!
I have most often been disappointed by 100 point wines but this was without a doubt worthy of the triple digits
Sommelier had never tried it and said it may have been the best Napa cab he has ever tasted.....Great job Chris !

Under preformed my expectations based on other notes and past experiences with Insignia.
The nose was muted and never really opened up, the wine itself was just ok never really ramped up just kinda sat there and idled. I can't really put a number on it but with great labels/vintages you definately have higher hopes than this bottle delivered....I have a couple more so maybe next time........

Opened and allowed to decant for 30 mins. Initially the nose was a bit closed but after the decant it opened up tremendously. This wine is ready to go- fully integrated and seamless from entry thru mid-palate with a nice 20 econd finish. Not much for descriptors but I did notice a pleasant bitter-chocolate thing going on which I found very nice. My wife agreed it was a very solid cab but thought not as interesting as I did. Popped and poured. Needs some air-time to come around I think. There is definately some potential there. Will edit this note tomorrow

Definately in its prime. Well integrated and loads of fruit. A pleasure to drink.

Opened as a 'wine of interest' for Thanksgiving. Most thought it was a bit too sweet. Second day sweetness was gone but a bitter taster on the finish like grapefruit or lemon peel maybe.

Big...big wine but.....balanced - not over the top, not hot. Drinking great will save my other bottle for awhile though.

First Kosta Brown Pinot. Fabulous layers of pinot with a silky seamless finish. Gotta get more

Drank on my wife's birthday. I was having a gout attack ( ugh!) so I only sniffed. She said it was 'yummy'. Although she also said that it tasted a bit sweet ? I hope we are not headed down the yellow brick road to Burgundy !!
