This bottle was much better than the last bottle. A ton of sediment. Dark fruits, leather, spices, sweet tobacco. Very good. I’d drink up now.

Serious sediment. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much. This wine is past its window. It was still enjoyable but fruit fading and starting to oxidize.

Very good brunello. It’s early in drinking window but it’s ready after a decant. Was very good right out of the bottle. Earthy and lots of dark fruit.

Really nice and has mellowed out, but still needs a lot more time in the cellar. I’d say 5+ years. Very enjoyable but still very tannic. Well made and should last many more years.

Definitely needs a decant. Average when opened but developed with air. Very good after 2 hours. Earthy, herbal, fruit is there but subdued. Old world in style.

I can’t believe how fresh this was is at this age. Cork in perfect condition and wine ready to go without a decant. Loads of red fruit on palate, savory nose. Elegant, very mature and very good. Still has time after 25 years

Exceeded expectations in every way. Perfectly aged and still plenty of life. Loads of fruit, herbs, mellow tannins and acidity still vibrant. Elegant. Color was garnet. Surprisingly little sediment. Had with roasted lamb and it was a standout wine.

A special wine. It’s balanced, elegant and powerful. It’s still a bit too young but after a few hours, it softened up and really shined. I’ll wait a few more years for the next one but still very enjoyable.

Very good. Rustic but a lot of vibrant fruit. It has matured nicely. It’s got some complexity but isn’t overly structured. Very enjoyable and I’d drink with food.

Very interesting wine. I disagree this has much life left. I think it peaked a while back. Starting to oxidize but very slightly. Licorice, balsamic notes, dried fruits, cedar box. An intriguing wine for sure but the lack of fruit is noticeable. Mostly tertiary.

Tasty. Loads of fruit, good acidity, has the subtle bruised fruit you’d expect. Not too complex but good with or without food. A great wine for the price.

Very good. It’s a powerful wine but has calmed down. Lots of red fruit, acidic, strong tannins but not too strong, earthy. I’d say this is in a good spot but will improve in the next few years.

Very good after a decant. Needed air to open up. Loads of dark fruit, mineral notes, pencil/charcoal. Initially thought it tasted like the CDR but much better and concentrated after being open.

Nicely matured and are much better than the last bottle a few years ago. Classic Nebbiolo notes and very enjoyable. Plenty of life left but I’d drink up in the next two years.

Very good. A bold wine as expected. Olive brine, dark fruit, tobacco, smoke notes. Needs food. Had with porterhouse and was perfect. I would not decant.
