Bold and brooding when first opened. After decanting for 45min it started to come to life. Dark cherry and mocha notes throughout. Fresh herbs, earth and hints of vanilla. This wine will become even more well rounded over the next 1-3yrs. Enjoyed at Rats, Grounds for Sculpture.

This wine is still a baby, needs time to mellow in the bottle. A bit of tartness, bright cherry, currant, raspberry, fresh herbs, mineral tones throughout. A plump and juicy finish yet ultimately very dry. Excellent now, though patience is needed with this one.

The pepper and mixed berries dance around each other, intertwined in a bold and fruity, tannic, yet approachable blend. Excellent with brief decanting. Stellar the second day. Needs a bit of time to open up but this wine is fighting well above its weight class. Fantastic value.

Deep, dark fruits - blueberry, blackberry, currant flavors build upon a core of earth and dried flower and herbs. Rustic tannins support a smooth and velvety, chocolate-tinged finish that lingers for minutes. Phenomenal wine. Worth the wait and drinking beautifully now.

Bold & brooding, plenty of forest floor, stone, briars accents, licorice and even more zest! Day 2 is dramatically different…the fruit came out to shine: bright cherry, currant, blackberry while the zesty backbone supports the creaminess thet has come along for the ride on the finish. It goes on! Enjoyed this fantastic wine.

Light-bodied with muted fruit. Dusty, mild tannins, mocha and raspberry flavors. A bit closed off now but better 2nd day, when the blueberry and plum notes started to sing.
An interesting Pinot. Will wait another year or so to open the next bottle.
