Tasted remarkably aged for a 2013, showcasing the aging effect of a wine decades old, while still possessing full fruit. Enjoyed tremendously.

Had shipped from Italy a couple of years ago after a tour of the amazing ancient winery. I have a better recollection of it there. No surprise given the ambiance. But it was the lesser of two of their wines I got. Took a while to open up. Still a bit tight and tannic. I may be being a bit generous and this is an 89. But probably it simply needs a few more years in the bottle. I'll let the rest age longer.

Could use some more time in the bottle but drank well after an hour

I opened the bottle a day before a 3 week detox and drank a glass. Was lovely. Vacuum sealed and refrigerated and opened back up 3 weeks later. A lovely way to restart. Drank over 3 days and it just kept getting more and more glorious. Must find more of these.

Wow. Not oaky or buttery as you'd expect from Chard. Big notes of grapefruit. Nice crispness. Have to remember this one.

This bottle didn't impress. Powerful and rich but a bit flabby and lacking acidity.

Cork in great shape. Nose showing alcohol and not much fruit. Started a bit mild with not much interesting, then gained in intensity and became very pleasing.
