Two hours decant, probably needed a tiny bit more. Intense wine, blackberry, anise, burnt arabica beans, resin of blueberry pipe tobacco. In 10 years, I believe this will move up 23 points, really well made and intriguing TRB wine.

Such an enjoyable wine. Black cherry, two parts bittersweet chocolate, one part milk chocolate. Great tannic structure with a little chalkiness to it. Loved this wine.

Absolutely stunning wine with a one hour decant. 47% Mourvèdre, 35% Syrah, and 18% Grenache, all putting forth their best characteristics. Seductive entry, velvety tannins, great plush mouthfeel. Dense muddled Marionberry, smokey blueberry, faint sweetened strawberry, anise and slight charcoal. Building depth with time in the glass, this is a polished, classy and hedonistic offering by Scott Hawley. Bravo.

PnP, doesn't need much air, even at this young age. Pleasant wine, pretty Grenache notes up front of strawberry, cranberry and cherry. Telltale pepper from Syrah on finish, with some blackberry in the background.

One of the better FA wines I have had. Approachable early (by FA standards) because the '14's were a front-loaded vintage. Blacke cherry, black raspberry, licorice, slightly sweetened tobacco. Very nice wine.

Absolutely stunning wine. Incredible mouthfeel, velvety and mouthcoating plush tannins. Black cherry, ripe plum, prune, black cherry pipe tobacco and licorice. Three levels deep with a one-minute finish. From 2012-2016 Gargiulo 575 OVX and G Major 7 offering were about as good as Napa produced.

88% Syah, 12% Grenache. Wow!!! Unbelievable mouthfeel. Grenache's influence is larger than the composition suggests. Strawberry, red raspberry, boysenberry, anise, white pepper and violets. Superb wine.
