Decanted for two hours. Soft tannines, typical bordeaux. Should be drunk the next twelve months

not a big fan of the tannat grape. However this wine may change my opinion. A strong winter wine. Earth tones and some forrest fruit. I tried this 2000 vintage two years ago. At that time it required a few hours of decanting. Now no need for decanting. Can be drunk right away.

the surprise of the evening. A crisp, well made riesling from the Netherlands. Nice mineral tast. Yes, it can be done. Drink now.

Opened the bottle four houes before drinking. Still some tannines but pairs very well with game. Wine is ready to drink but holds for another 2 or 3 years.

Had two bottles left. Whereas earlier tastings were always good now this wine is unfortunately over the hill. Very strong citrus taste, almost acid like.
