Decanted for 1 hour. All the elements are there, but I agree with other recent postings that the wine appears to be a bit closed at the moment. I will wait a couple of years before opening my last bottle.

Signs of oxidation, fruit disappeared. Disappointing compared to the high expectations. Dried out cork. I hope my last bottle will be in a better shape.

This bottle was purchased from St.-Emilion during our trip to Bordeaux in 2016. 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc.
Nose is open and expressive with black currant. Full-bodied, but not heavy, nice fruit with ripe black currant and soft tannins. Very enjoyable and matched perfectly with peppery tarragon chicken.

Decanted for about 1.5 hours. The bottle had quite a lot of sediment, so be careful when decanting. The wine is still pretty closed with high level of tannins. Should be cellared for a couple of more years.
