7/31/23, 11:37 PM - @wineguydelmar: I definitely think so, and I also believe that it will improve with time.
11/6/23, 11:12 AM - @pemazel: Not sure I get the question. "A point", do you mean "around"? If so, I of course hope so and that you'll still be able to enjoy great wines. But of course, you could always drink it sooner rather than later. I would just give it plenty of air. I drank this over 3 days (I my memory serves me correctly). Definitely a change for the better from day 1 to 2.
11/6/23, 12:40 PM - @pemazel: I certainly hope so. 66 is no age. My father-in-law is almost 80; still very much enjoys his wines :)
8/28/23, 4:20 AM - I know it's a while back but when would you suuggest opening it? Does it still have a long life ahead or should you just open it? Thanks in advance
8/28/23, 11:26 AM - Tnx. How about cellaring? Would you save it another decade or...?
8/29/23, 1:11 AM - Wonderful. Thank you.
10/7/22, 2:06 PM - WineGuyDelMar: Agreed
9/28/21, 1:29 PM - Nice review. When do you suggest drinking it? Is it now or later?
3/18/21, 12:44 PM - @Nemesis_04 Thank you!
2/3/21, 11:18 PM - Yeah should probably have been a bit more precise here. I am overall referring to both Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, but mainly to Ramonet's portfolio in Chassagne.
12/29/20, 1:42 PM - Bsmith457 Sorry mate. Completely missed your comment. Yes, this one definitely deserves more time in the cellar.
12/28/20, 11:51 AM - Thank you srh for your comment. Just saw your notes on the bottle. Very interesting read. I had 1/3 bottle left for today and also got more of the spritzy feeling today while lime and blossom was more accentuated.
11/30/20, 8:19 AM - Absolutely. But honestly my first with DP. What makes you think it might not be?
11/30/20, 10:05 AM - Regarding the grapes, it is likely that I was misinformed. Truthfully I wasn't really sure but that was what my notes said. So you might be right on that one. Regarding the difference, I had the Dom P 08 in both April and August 2019 and they were complete opposite experiences. And I honestly can't figure out why. The August tasting was done in a group and my notes are similar to the rest of the group. The April one on the other handwas tasted alone (with my wife) but over the course of the day with no or little variation on my notes from the afternoon until late evening.
5/24/20, 12:12 PM - RolfT: damn! Is saving my last hoping it will improve with age. Maybe not then...
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
