Youthful and vibrant in depth. Still so many nuances and wonderful to experience. A “well built “ wine that was enjoyed in its glory!

Perfectly stored - great fill, unsaturated cork, and...hitting on all cylinders. Still youthful - great balance - acidity, tannins and dark fruit.

When Napa was Napa… Centercut.

A perfect bottle from our cellar -drinking beautifully after 30 years…

In our cellar for many years-great fill, cork. We still have the better part of the vertical left.

From the glory days of Napa, before the days of homogenous,“Napa style“ wines - a beauty that still sings…

In a blind tasting, you’d swear it was a 40-year old 2eme Cru Left Bank Bordeaux. A few more years of good life still left in it. Classic!

Opened, double decanted -not ready to drink after two hours.Put the cork back in, and pulled it out the next night. Drank exceedingly well over 2 1/2 hours -deep, plush dark fruit flavors - plum, prune, black cherry.

A beauty, and great example of “old style“ Napa, winemaker driven Cabernet. A cut apart from today’s homogenized, in your face, Napa Cabernet style.

A beautiful wine, totally in stride - Merlot speaking. Only needs a short decant.

After four hours of error just starting to peek out-still very restrained and very young - 5 to 10 more years of cellar time will do it some good

In a great drinking plateau, very similar to bottles consume it over the past couple of years. Typical Graves notes -Minerality and gravel on top of classic east bank cassis, cedar.

Leather, rose petal, something a bit coarse and unresolved about this one – short finish - actually a bit unpleasant.

Beautiful tobacco, cigarbox, sweet tannins, and long finish - still... a beautiful wine, past what should be the drinking window, but still a few years ahead for it.
