Decanted an hour and it opened up nicely. Dark fruit with twigs, minerality and a nice finish.

This bottle is slightly past it’s prime. Still enjoyable with dark fruits and good acidity with our Christmas tamales but it is fading by the glass as it oxidizes. This was my last bottle, which is a good thing.

We really enjoyed this Washington Chardonnay. A very balanced wine with pear, hints of apricot and apple. Excellent acidity. Mid palate to a long finish this is excellent. We purchased 2 more cases.

My first bottle of this wine. Really enjoyed. Dark fruit with just a small hint of chocolate. Tannins very mild creating a very smooth full bodied and balanced drink.
Opened two hours before tasting and was ready to go

Drinking as well as I’ve tasted from this wine. The fruitiness of a big Cali Pinot has subsided a bit in a great way. Restrained full body with typical Pinot fruit creating a balanced and long finish leaving you wanting more.
Simply excellent.

Decanted for 90 minutes. Sung251 describes this wine very well. Enjoyed with steak Florentine. Helped complete a wonderful celebratory dinner as the food and Opus enhanced each.

Excellent. Dark fruit and dark in the glass. Not as big nor a fruit bomb as other Pinots yet full bodied. It is a harmonious drinking experience where all is working through the long, smooth finish.

I have really enjoyed this Vintage. Another superb bottle that made a very nice contrast to a 90 Chateau Montrose. Wonderful fruit and creamy nose, a great mouthfeel that makes you want more. Creamy, dark fruit with smooth tannins leading to a luxurious finish.

Despite excellent provenance this wine was past its prime. Maybe it was just this particular bottle.

A little hot on the front but still exhibiting some stone fruit and a nice finish. This was my last bottle and if this one is representative of the remaining vintage, it is a good thing because it is passing its peak.

Still a young wine. 5 hour decant and was still opening into it’s full intensity as the bottle was fully consumed. Same tasting notes as others. This still has years of great drinking ahead of it.

Aubert can be an up or down experience. This was definitely an up. It is drinking superbly. Cream, pineapple, apricot and hints of citrus. Smooth and long finish leaving you wanting more.

Drinking at peak of its perfection. Cherry and cola, soft tannins and no fruit bomb. Long finish leaves you wanting more. Age has been good to this bottle.

I purchased this out of curiosity and am glad I did. This is a pop and pour wine that is a step up. Not over extracted fruit and really nice smooth finish. I will look for a few more bottles and let them sit in the cellar a while before trying again.

This one has opened up and is drinking very well. I'm not sure it will get much better than now, which is very good. Typical Zin notes with a long smooth finish.

This is way, way too young to drink. A guest brought it over and it needed plenty of air. A 3 hour plus decant would have helped but it was just popped and poured.
The fruit just wasn't able to come out as this was tight with tannin's coating the palate. This needs at least ten years.

Opened a magnum with Thanksgiving festivities. Expected this to be drinking really well but seemed out of gas. Opened to a very nice nose however on the palate there was no finish. Perhaps it was the bottle but in a word, this wine was flat.

Just too jammy and a fruit bomb for my taste. Consensus favored the Aubert 2010 UV over this one.

Always disappointing to open up a $70 bottle, perfectly stored, and find it undrinkable. :(

Time to drink. This was still very enjoyable but is probably a tad bit past it’s peak. Still very drinkable and enjoyable. Fruit has mellowed into a less big Syrah. Hint of licorice and red/dark fruit.

This bottle was drinking beautifully. I truly cannot imagine it could get any better. A dark violet in the glass with hints of cherry, cola and floral on the nose. The balance of fruit and acidity is what stood out. Complex flavors that are harmonious together with no competition for attention. Mid palate is simply luxuriously smooth and delightful with a very nice finish. Served at room temperature, popped and poured.
Enjoy this one if it remains in your cellar.

Dark in the glass. Extremely smooth combination of dark fruit, smooth tannins, hints of cocoa and a bit of cedar. So much going on and coming together. Drinking beautifully.

Brought 2 Ten and Southing bottles each and they were very enjoyable. This wine has improved significantly since my last sampling approximately 3 years ago. A bit fuller body than the Southing with cherry, cola and well integrated spice and dusty dark fruit but not overly fruity.

Both the Southing and Ten were showing very well at Christmas Eve dinner. I was rewarded by laying these down several years after opening my first bottle. A somewhat lighter, balanced Pinot that is not too fruity. Cherry, a hint of cola and dark fruit all in harmony.

Drinking beautifully. Dark fruit with a silky texture dominate with a cacophony of accompanying influences that remain in perfect balance through a long rich finish. Loving where this wine is at this point in time.

This is still drinking beautifully. I love the nuanced and complex flavors of apricot, pear, pineapple, green apple with a hint of hazelnut, which I couldn't put my finger on but another reviewer mentioned. The nose has a bit of honeysuckle and apricot. One of my favorite chardonnays.

Beautiful, floral on the nose with dusty dark fruit and a harmonous start to finish Pinot. Simply outstanding after 3 flawed 09 Aubert Pinots.

Two bottles of the 09 Ritchie were flawed. Disappointing as provenance in my off site cellar they were delivered to has been excellent. An 09 UV-SL was somewhat drinkable but also a great disappointment and pulled at the same time.

This was my last bottle and with each it has only gotten better. More integration of flavors and simply a smoother ride then previous bottles, which were still good. This Chardonnay takes age well, which I will remember with future Boswell Chardonnay.

Drinking beautifully. An elegant, balanced Pinot that is simply delicious. Everything is in harmony. A California Pinot that is mot too sweet or jammy yet packed with all the stuff going on that people love Pinot for.

Pulled from the cellar, popped and poured without giving time to warm or settle. Left it in the glass and watched and tasted it as it evolved. A very full, yet balanced black fruit mélange of blackberry, plum and enough acidity to give it backbone. Very well integrated through mid palate and finish. It just seemed to get fuller and better throughout the bottle. Very nice.
