Tasting Notes for Sebacca

Ellen's going away to Peru party. Ellen, Jim, Sandy, Marlene and I enjoyed king salmon, pesto pasta, and caesars salad outside on one of the last warmish evenings. We drank 3 wonderful wines that all were terrific, the 2003 Leonetti Cab, 2001 Pepper Bridge Cab from Jim, and a 2009 Figgins Estate Red Wine. Wonderful send off for Ellen.

Drank with Willie and Evelyn in great restaurant in North Vancouver the night before we signed the mortgage papers for the Condo in St. John's.

The wine aged well and was excellent
There is light sediment in the bottle.
The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Loads of acid, tannins mostly gone. Excellent food wine. Decanted 4 hours. Start drinking now if you have not already.
