Needed time to open, did not decant, and should have, as the wine came out with time. Still lots of fruit.

Still drinking well. Complexities of the wine start to emerge as the wine breaths. Smooth!

Tasted this after the 2001 vintage, which was big and powerful. This 2000 vintage was more earthy in smell and taste. Not near as refined as the 2001.

Still big black cherry fruit flavour existing. Be careful lots of sediment in that last few mouthfuls of the bottle.

Amazingly aromatic. Decanted 45 minutes before drinking, wine opened nicely and was great with food. Still lots of fruit

Surprising good. Still had a good nose, and the fruit was apparent but beginning to fade. Decanted an hour before drinking, longer would have been helpful, as the wine needed to open more.

Still drinking well, but make sure not to drink the last gulp, as you will be chewing the sediment that is sitting at the bottom of the glass. Color is turning more brown around the edges.

Still drank well. Reasonable fruit. Nose was ok. Color was trending brownish, and losing deep red color. Was paired with slow roasted lamb and was a good selection.
