Excellent rust color, decanted for about an hour prior to first pour. Still showing a lot of character, nice cigar box notes and just generally a very good example of an older napa cab.

Sour tasting, full bodied.... disappointing to say the least. Not worth its low price.

Very nicely developed, complex, full bodied, LOTS of sediment.

More full bodied and less subtle than I recalled; less old style Rioja characteristic than described or desired.

Very smokey on the mid pallet shortly after opening; evened out pretty quickly and had a mature earthy bordeaux flavor. Very good.

Nice smell, simple taste - nothing complex or interesting, tanic. To say average means the bar is pretty low -- I can drink it but wish I opened something else. At $19.99/bottle the price performance is poor.

Very inconsistent with same bottle opened two days earlier. Light body, medium intensity, well integrated but a slight hint of a sour finish.

medium body, well integrated rich flavor -- an ideal rioja in my book

Overall excellent, fair amount of complexity, rustic character. But a faint hint of sour that keeps this from being very good to excellent. Great price performer.

I have no complaints about the price for a Napa Cab but this bottle/vintage it is not remarkable in any way. Would not purchase again.

Can't complain about the price but that is the only redeeming quality here. Bought this hoping it was similar to the 2006, it is not. Good bottle to pull out after killing a few others first. '06 was pretty variable bottle to bottle so perhaps the next one will be a better surprise.

Drinking very well right now. Very nicely integrated, classic Rioja. Medium body, excellent nose & mature rusting color.

Found this bottle to be very full bodied/heavy but without much distinguishing character. Fine paired with a burger or a pizza but probably nothing more complicated -- not a repeat purchase.

This bottle was much ore subdued and dull compared to a previous bottle. Far less interesting. At $9.99 perhaps it is just a numbers game and a few of the bottles shine?

Incredibly dense, thick to the pallet, nothing subtle at all about this bottle.
