Nose: subdued mushrooms and sour cherry. Tasting: somewhat roustique and floral onset, but not in a bad way. Good acid and length - red with some green notes, but still the fruit sweetness to balance it. Minerals, mushroom.

According to website: Kimmeridgian, clay-limestone-soil. South-east exposure. 25 year vines. Cold settling before fermentation. Both yeast and malolactic fermentations in small tanks and barrels.
Approximately 12 months on fine lees in tanks and barrels.

Nose: very fruit-forward, especially after some airing, yellow, some tropical notes, honey.

Taste: also very fruit-forward, prominent yellow and tropical from onset. Keeps intensity towards finish, and length is nice and mineralistic. The acid makes this an interesting wine, although buttery, oaky notes might be slightly too prominent at this young age. Not a very subtle wine, but I would consider it balanced, nevertheless, and alcohol level is not an issue.

Fine enough, but expected more, tbh.

From Shawn Fine Wine about vinification: «Half of the vines are 80-100 years old; the other half around 30 years. The older vines are located in Bouzeron and the younger in Meursault. The grapes are directly pressed, settling before transfer to older oak barrels for indigenous yeast fermentation. Aged for 12 months, fined and/or filtered if necessary.»

Nice mouth feel and nutty notes. But would want less alcohol and more acid from a wine like this

Tasted at La Perla restaurant in Benalmadena. Fruit-driven, but balanced. Nice floral notes. Smooth, low on tannins. Slightly spicy finish. Nice, but not overly complex. 73% Petit Verdot / 17% Syrah / 10% Tempranillo, Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature (28ºC), malolactic fermentation in concrete and stainless steel tank, 15 months in French oak barrels (225 and 300L) according to producer.

Tasted at Restaurant Savage in Oslo from Zalto Universal. Degorgement date unknown. According to homepage, PN 45% and PM 45%, both from Montaigne de Reims, and Chardonnay 10% from Montaigne de Reims and Vitryat. Blended from all the producers terroirs, made with solera started from 1982, one years maturation on foudre. Beautiful golden colour. Nutty and yeasty aromas perfectly blended with crisp yellow fruit and citrus. Would almost believe Chardonnay percentage was higher. Great balance and concentration, acid most definitely still present despite age of reserve wines, bubbles also still present. Marvellous with all savory seafood dishes, as well as delicate meat dishes.

Served in Riedel Champagne. Terrific balance and concentration. Citrus fruit sweetness and acidity melts perfectly with the darker, fuller notes of chocolate, coffee and caramel.

Great value. Prominent mushroom on nose. Smooth and pleasant on palate, with medium acidity, low tannins. Enough sweetness in fruit to carry the tomatoes in the pizza we had. Perhaps a bit too light for red meat-dominated dishes.

Pleasant Beaujolais. Not too much on the «funky» side, which def is a positive for me. Nose towards the aromatic side, floral (roses). Slight sour bitterness throughout, but ok fruit concentration balances it. Pleasant medium acid, very little tannins (as usual). On some sips some imbalance in aftertaste, slightly metallic - could be a biproduct of food pairing (pizza with meat and some chili)

Consumed some months back, so uncertain of exact date. But remember it as pleasant - as have previous Pertois-Morisets been. Fresh and saline, more subtle than bold.

Great value for money (340 NOK in Norway at time of purchase) - concentration, crispness and balance reminding of an excellent Chablis. Full-bodied for Aligote grape, med acid.

Delicate nose, yellow apples, floral notes, smoke, honey, citrus. On palate, crisp and refreshing mineral acidity - although balanced - lasting long. Some earthiness, without being particularily green. Yellow apples and citrus.

Drank with fresh shrimps, homemade white bread with parsley and garlic butter (great match). Drank from Spiegelau Bordeaux.(great match).

Coravin, one glass from untouched bottle. Tasted from Spiegelau Universal. Smooth and pleasant CdR. Floral, dark berries, some earth on nose. On the palate: relatively low on tannins, in the lower spectrum also on acidity and body. Has the typical Northern Rhône dark-berry sting, but also riper red berry notes, which actually made me want to double check whether this is 100% syrah (which it is). This warmer feel might be attributable to vintage and/or Brezeme being posititioned south in Northern Rhône. Pleasant and well-tuned through finish, with peppery tannins transcending melting with earthy notes, some minerals. Ok length, but not extreme. With creamy moose stew, it might have benefited from some more acid and tannins, but great easy drinking wine.

Google tells me spontaneous fermentation and whole bunch fermentation.
