Showed well, but it's time to drink up the 2008. Marvellous.

What a surpriser. At last night's wine tasting, this was preferred by the group to a 2008 Penfolds 311, and a Blason Montagny 1er cru.

A good wine on opening, but after being vacuum-sealed and left in the fridge for 10 days- even better. Give it air to breathe.

No notes here so I'll add some. Really good, just like we found when we tasted it at the vineyard/co-op in 2012.
Slightly burgundian, and refreshing.
Will be buying more.

Drank this in comparison with the 2010 Hahn St Lucia Hills. The Hahn edged it. Still a great wine though.

Drank this in comparison with the 2010 Penfolds 311 and again, it won. Delicious; hints of banana.

Splendid. A very subtle champagne, to be enjoyed quietly and carefully. Notes of pineapple and nectarines. Tremendously mellow.

Not quite as good as the Pol Roger Reserve. But still good. Tannic, plenty of green apple and gooseberry.

Fabulous. Preferred to the Ruinart blanc de blancs.
Wonderful aroma of Bassett's Liquorice all-sorts!

I'd mark this significantly below consensus on CT so I won't give a number here.
Vey intense nose- yeasty, rubbery, sulphurous- a hint of old trainers.
I thought it was an off bottle, but the second bottle was identical. Some of the flavours diminished 30mins after opening.
Drinkable, but not the treat I expected from the 159 other tasting notes here.

Good.
Nose of apples, pears and even white chocolate!
Much fuller flavour than the previous Chancery cremant (and 4x the price) - almost leading to an oiliness. Tropical fruits including lychee and melon.

Flavours of elderflower and asparagus. Respectable.

Enjoyed with Cloudy bay chardonnay 2010; this was my preference. Am buying some more.

Astounding. Such a contrast between the sharp bubbles, then the deep honey of the wine. As good as Tokaji? Maybe. Definitely getting more. Not cheap, but worth the money. Made the (admittedly much much cheaper) decent Bonterra look silly.

This "vintage 2010 Codorniu brut" is a winner. The NV is nothing like as good.

Tasted & bought at the vineyard.
Back at home: glorious deep colour- reminds us of Calpol! Fortunately the flavour does not. Deep dark fruits; Christmas spices; cigar-box; hints of mushrooms. Peppers. Good.

Tried this on Jancis's recommendation. Nothing like as good as Codorniu vintage in my view and they're around the same price.

Broadly as expected- easy to drink, good depth of flavour. Not dramatically exciting but for this price a solid wine.

Went well with slow-cooked (24h) pork shoulder. Seems to be at a good stage for drinking but I'm led to believe it will also improve.

Went down faster than expected; good depth of flavour and hints of spice box! (Could have been aided by the leg of lamb cooking on the fire, as well as the splendid British weather)

Very easy to drink, and it comes in a 5L box which fits perfectly in the fridge. Will be getting some more. This box has been in the cellar for three years which seems a suitable period of ageing.

"Extra dry" but still with some sweetness. Reminds me why I generally prefer cava, but as a prosecco it's very drinkable. Strong lime with a dash of acidity. Maybe some peach.

First of the three blind shirazes.. and 100% guessed correctly. This was served in good company and was clearly the weaker of the wines. Not bad by any means, just not as good. Straightforward flavours, little complexity; quite pleasing.

Incredible depth of flavour. Shavings of lime clearly discernible... although some thought it was squeezes not shavings, I am certain it was shavings!

Good alternative to champagne. Haven't tried the NV (yet) so can't compare there.
Nose hinted of (shredded) coconut in addition to typical champagne.

Strong resemblance to Ribena- a great choice for teenage parties in the sun and certainly a contrast to the Green Point which followed. Simple, one-dimensional Ribena flavours.
Amazing colour and bubbles. This would make a fantastic sorbet.
