Another superb Goldeneye pinot noir from Anderson Valley. Excellent QPR .

Very disappointed. It was totally flat. I have been a big fan of Roar Sierra Mar, not this vintage. Possibly bottle was not stored properly. Cork showed no contact with wine. . Hopefully this was the situation. Will open another one and will update my review.

We opened for Thanksgiving and did not have any. Four days later we tried it and were supprised how well it held up. Soft tannins. Excellent with pasta.

Very disappointing. Ordered at a restaurant. There is nothing there. Tastes like a $10.00 wine. Based on the price $ 185.00, I was expecting a superior Sangiovese.

Was recommended by sommelier at local restaurant. Very disappointing, it may improve with time. Right now it is chalky. Not ready for prime time.

Taste of resin and turpentine.

Unfortunately it appears to be over its prime, somewhat flat. I am sure it was very good earlier, left it too long in the cellar.

This is my second and last bottle. My first was about a year ago. Has not changed much. Rough tannins.Hard finish. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

Very light. Opened for about an hour, not much change from first opening. Not your typical Syrah.

Flat. Very disappointing. May have been cooked. Had others from the same vintage and were wonderful. Not this bottle.

I was really expecting a spectacular Pinot. Not the case on this one. Probably too young and may need to sit for a couple of years. Chocolate on the nose. Will try again in a few years.

Highly acidic, very sour, no fruit to speak of. Very disapointing.

Excellent value. It is not a BIG wine, but considering the price, it is a great wine to enjoy during the week.

Just ok. Recommended by Sommelier at local restaurant. Would not order again. A bit disappointing considering that California Pinot Noirs for 2009 are supposed to be outstanding. Not this one.

Terrific. Fruit throughout. Still young but certainly good to drink now. Will wait another 6 months to open the next one. Should develop very nicely in the next few years.

Purchased this wine on board Oceania cruise based on the recommendation of the Cellar Master. Extremely disappointing wine. This should not be consummed anytime soon, perhaps in 7 years if that. Stay away from this puppy.

Purchased on board Oceania. Great cab even this young, should get even better with age. Plan to purchase a case for my cellar.
